Mid-Air Thief is a group Ive been meaning to check out for a fat minute, but from what I’ve heard from them, they make some of the coolest sounding electronic music I’ve probably ever heard. The latest release and pseudonym for the currently anonymous South Korean artist features even greater experimental and electronic explorations. Listened to this ages ago in the same week as 3 other Mid Air Thief projects, leading me to forget to review this one. Flood Format is a solid album from Mid Air Thief, but it does feel like its focusing more on sounding nice that making good songs. It does sound really nice though, never has noise been more pleasing to the ear, however I prefer his projects with more meat on the bone beside just a cool collection of bleeps and bloops.
