This is a landmark album that combines the talents of dedicated rock musicians, and should be included in any collection of heavy metal music.

Just wow, the southern influences on this stoner metal record gives it such a unique and comfy feel to it, idk how else to describe it. Phil Anselmo continues to be one of the most talented voices in metal with his mixes of clean singing and deeper growls with the instrumentals that also get a little melodic and heavy. Best songs are Temptations Wings, Hail the Leaf and Stone the Crow
i'm not too big of a pantera fan, or phil anselmo for that matter, but the rest of down's lineup was too good to NOT listen to eventually. kirk windstein and jimmy bower on the same album is the stuff dreams are made of. and, to no one's surprise, the instrumentation is incredible. super punchy drums and crazy good riffs fill this album to the brim, and i think it pairs with phil's vocal delivery better than any pantera song. while it does get a bit samey after a while, the ... read more
