The B3 EP, like much of their previous work, is well-produced, sounds good loud, and is ultimately an enjoyable listen. Unfortunately it’s also very forgettable and I think therein lies the problem.
Feels emptier than ever. The songs don’t feel complete. They’re just like well produced demos at this point. All the same issues from the past two albums have been repeated here and I feel like I'm listening to the same thing over and over. Nothing here is developing Placebo’s sound in any way.
The only song from this that deserves any merit is I.K.W.Y.L which I quite enjoyed. It sounds like something from Meds which is what I’d consider to be their last good album. The ... read more
