Nightcall is a synthwave classic but unfortunately I found most of this album pretty unimpressive. I appreciate Kavinsky's influence of one of my favorite genres, but I mostly didn't care for the music he put out at least for this album.
If you haven't watched the movie "Drive", with Ryan Gosling, you really missing out.
The movie is good but the soundtrack is phenomenal.
That's what brought me to this album.
Just listen to Nightcall and tell me it sucks.

57/100 it’s a good album nothing better. It creates great atmosphere for a movie (which i watched, i recommend “Drive” to everyone actually). i like it but i wonder how much of this Kavinsky really produced because it sounds more like a SebastiAn synthwave album

idk why this album's mixing pisses me off so much. probably because Nightcall gave so much hope on the album's potential. but most of the album literally sounds like low-quality demos. and the ideas (or sometimes the lack of) doesn't save it either
