World Downfall has grown in stature over time and is regularly cited as a grindcore classic.

Hell yeah, this repeats in a nasty ass way that I really fw. Usually the older heavier stuff isn't too much for me, I think it can fall into a bit of a samey vibe at times, but they repeat some really good riffs on here, especially on tracks 1 and 3. The buildups into instant beatdowns are sick and every instrument sounds pretty damn clean. Not completely my style of music, but songs like Dead Shall Rise have converted me successfully to a deathgrinder.

i was talking to my friend abt grind and mentioned that i hadnt heard THAT much grind so he told me that i should listen to this album. this shit was some bomb deathgrind man. the album overall reminded me of a grind version of altars of madness and the bass tone was killer in tracks like storm of stress (which TOTALLY sounded like the beginning of on they slay by atheist)

I know every other review of this album says the same thing but HOW did they come up with this in 1989?
This album is just insanely good. Absolutely brutal and raw and pummeling without being overly repetitive
