The "1975"'s first album continues "Stratosphere"'s spacious sound and the results are even cleaner than before. It falls off on the second track, but the rest of it is catchy, distant and contains a couple of their best songs to date.

After their incredible debut, Duster adventures further into the distant. 1975 is the band at their quietest, gone are the dense and thick layers of ambiance and drone. Instead we get a more minimalist approach to their slowcore sound, and it works really well. It sounds a bit cleaner, the vocals are easier to make out, bits of bleepy electronics come and go.
