The weird thing about this outstanding band is that it manages to sound adventurous even if there's no sign of real adventure in its music.
Perhaps the most hollow Can has ever sounded. I don't even know how they were still together at this point. Uninteresting, meandering and lackluster jamming songs with obnoxious synths, vocals that you can barely hear and no song has an end-goal in sight. Everything just feels utterly pointless.
