There's really nothing special here. There's a track called Habitual where they use Habitual to rhyme it and call someone else a bitch. IDK it's a petty, nothing, Paramorey and Avril Lavigney pop rock album.

This is very much a "junk food" album. Yeah it can be catchy, but it also can be quite stale. The songs tend to blend together a bit and don't feel super unique from each other. There's also some questionable lyrics, nothing terrible but definitely a bit cheesy, and not in a good way. This album isn't really anything too special but I just find it fun to listen to, some of the songs blend together but I'm head bopping to a lot as well. Honey Revenge are just a fun band overall I feel.

There's definitely potential here, but this album is a couple of strong songs with mostly filler

Modern pop-punk is SO fun and I think this dup has the vocals down to a T. They make something grungier a little shinier and brighter. It has that retro vibe, but it keeps up with modern trends with the production which is a fun twist.

Favorites: Habitual, Airhead, and Rerun

Standard pop-rock album, but it’s got some good moments. It’s not too bad. The guitar on the last is great.

Airhead: This track isn’t too bad. It’s not perfect but it’s not bad. It’s got a great chorus. I enjoyed it. 7.5/10

Seeing Negative: I like the guitar riff. It’s pretty good. It sounds like an English cover of an anime opening, that’s a compliment. Though the lyrics are pretty standard, they aren’t my main focus. 7.5/10

These guys are kind of like if Paramore had no sauce. The production and songwriting is all super flat and barely rouses any excitement in me when listening to it. At some points, it is even actively grating to listen to.

Introduction:
I picked this record up the literal day it dropped, already hypnotized by the TikTok campaign for “Distracted.” That song had me in a chokehold—like, straight-up obsession to the point where I listened to the entire album just to chase that one track again. Honey Revenge is a vibrant Pop band that I discovered earlier this year via their opening for Spiritbox's tour. A lot of their songs feel very formulaic, with many of them kinda just feeling like the same song one after another throughout the album, but I like their direction. I think they have potential to be pretty nice, even if this album was kinda just alright.

Least Favorite Songs: Murphy's Law

This album is a very mixed bag for me. When this album is at its best - powerful, infectious, and sugary power pop fun - it's just a few steps from greatness. Songs like Worst Apology and Are You Impressed? find a pretty solid blend of modern-day pop punk with the commercialized power pop sound that an artist like Demi Lovato sold us on in the late 2000s. Every song basically sounded the same with the exact same breakup theme. Catchy at times, but nothing special.

Honey Revenge honestly surprised me quite a bit with this album. I came across both this album and band on complete accident one day, but I was instantly hooked after hearing a few of the songs. First time listening to Honey Revenge! A good album, not my favorite thing in the world but I'm not as versed in the genre as others are. But even then the sounds on this are fun and catchy.

Might be my cup if tea but we’ll see what happens.

This band is fun to see live. Their frontwoman brings a lot of charisma and stage presence. That said, I'm not sure why I would ever put this album on in my free time when other bands have done this sound better. A couple tracks like "Rerun" and "Are You Impressed?" are catchy and dynamic enough to keep in your library, but it's a bit of a chore to listen to the whole album in full when all the songs sound so similar.
