I was never the biggest fan of Sevendust, I've always found them to be kind of just OK in the midst of their Alternative and Nu Metal contemporaries. I've never really bumped anything from them, I've listened to the Home album and it was eh. Very generic, nothing really stood out about them, and it also felt super thin. Oh my god it was not it.
This album is the second metal album I listen following Sign of the Swarm's one, and it does not put a great light on this Sevendust record.
Sure, first track is a nice power ballad and that's pretty cool even if it is still really classic alt rock without originality, but the following songs are just bland, with always the same Chorus, with the guitars and drums that try to help having a good time but it doesn't help. Ah, Sevendust... man I used to go hard with this band back when I first heard them.
