This was a super fun album, the standard punkiness mixed with some country influence was very cool, along with almost every song featuring those great harmonies on the vocals between the male and female voices. I mention one track reminding me of The Carpenters but honestly the way her super smooth Karen Carpenter-esque voice layers over these tracks that are obviously much heavier than anything The Carpenters ever wrote is a super cool contrast that works super well. Ignore that this is rated slightly higher than the debut, that album is a bit better, but this album is great and just under that one. This is much more rock than it is punk at this point in their career but I don’t mind when the songs are as good as these.
