Joytime, Marshmello's debut swims in a pool filled with repetition and unoriginality. The chipmunk squeals are exceedingly annoying and cheesy in a very unenjoyable way. The only good song on here is Keep It Mello. This is bad even in EDM standards. Marshmello is killing EDM.
Imagine getting famous because of video games, ripping off deadmau5 and being anonymous. Time to burn this album in a dumpster fire.
Montage music, not a fan. This was incredibly boring, most of it was just some really boring generic electronic music, it has a couple moments that are ok, but its not very good. The vocal chops and just in general when vocals are used it ruins an already bad song. I can't tell the songs apart, I forget what the last one sounds like when it's over. The only song I thought was ok was Summer, but it still isn't good.
super hot take but this is kinda fun and maybe a bit overhated?
like seriously I thought I was going to come back to this one hating it and it aging terribly, but it just simply brought back nostalgia. Though the middle part of this album is really repetitive almost boring at times and I would’ve wished alone or moving on was on this instead of them, the highlights in this are great. one of the few records that screams 2016 to me
