Fear and Slow Dazzle cover the same ground, intellectual meta pop/rockmusic. Cale´s Mr. Wilson is a wonderful hommage to Brian Wilson and Heartbreak Hotel one of the best cover versions of this song. The whole record is rich in variety and sometimes Roxyesque. favorite song: I´m Not The Loving Kind.

Cale tried to repeat the formula from 'Fear' on his next release, at least to some degree, only something didn't quite click like previously. Yes, this set does boast two classic tracks in the shape of the Brian Wilson homage 'Mr Wilson' and his freakish but addictive reading of 'Heartbreak Hotel', but beyond these hits there are an awful lot of genre experiments that feel close to misses.
