Somehow, while remarkably cohesive, it offers a little something for everyone, at least within certain stylistic parameters.

The buffet is full as it is, but STRFKR are still bringing full plates to the table.

Yes, that is indeed a stretched out and open globe with a nice pillow supporting a random breast with a mouth spewing out of it's nipple.

While I like Psychedelia and I like pop, they kinda don't mesh together all that well for me. I honestly would have enjoyed this album more if it leaned more into the Psych or the pop cause it mostly doesn't land for me the way that it is. Still there's a number of tracks that I found enjoyable enough to recommend. It just doesn't hold up to the awesome ... read more

I had never heard of this project nor the band until I was recommended it by a close friend of mine, and I can't lie this whole album feels like the same song over and over again. I get the appeal don't get me wrong, but like god damn this thing is 55 minutes of the same regurgitated sounds over and over again with little to no variety between each track. This project continues to overstay its' welcome and never once brings anything to the table that makes you think "Oh ... read more

Normally I'd like a cover like this, but there's too much going on.

It's colorful Psychedelia infused Indietronica and it's exactly what you'd expect from a STRFKR record. It's consistent in it's sound, it has it's high points and low points, and it falls short in being anywhere near as distinct as it should be. Typical for STRFKR, and at this point I'm no longer expecting any sort of evolution from them. If you've listened to one STRFKR record, you've heard 'em all. This one's low moments ... read more

"Just not really that interesting

An hour runtime for 17 extremely similar indie pop songs is WAYYYY too long. If they cut like 5 songs from this album it could have been shorter and relatively the exact same.

None of the songs are bad or poorly produced, they’re just overall not that exciting in the context of a whole album. Could be better could be worse, just very okay
