The verdict on Evolve is what so many people have given Phish in the past: the instrumentals are fabulous, but the lyrics leave something to be desired.
Ironically the only thing the band has never done in their long career is the album's title.

I’ve heard one or two of their songs in the past and I really liked them.
For their modern material, this is really solid and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve heard these are better love, but as a studio performance a lot of these songs are really sweet and sound great.
