Pole’s first 3 albums have been on my radar for a bit now and well I gotta get myself started with the first of the trilogy! And it was really good stuff. 1 is a great Glitch and Ambient Dub album that blends in Minimal Techno and Ambient Techno. The glitchy styled production works really well alongside the beats and soundscapes on here. Definitely a grower. On first listen this album did quite literally nothing for me (WHY DON'T ANY OF THE SONGS DO ANYTHING) and I was ready to give it some really low score. Fortunately, my revsits definitely led me to come to appreciate this project a little more, and while I still wish a few of these tracks were a little more dynamic they all succeed in creating a very nice atmosphere.
