For the sighs, heartaches and flirtations with reggaeton that mark its place in their canon, Dive ultimately proves to be no exception here.

Beyond the Horizon is okay I guess, i feel like I've heard a bunch of tracks like this and the beat choice just isn't for me, it would have been cool if they switched to the trap beat that's teased. The title track is smooth and glides nicely, lots of similar sounding songs exist but no real complaints here, easy to vibe to grooves.

TWICEs 5th Japanese LP 'DIVE' is more Horizon, than Challenger.
Perhaps it's because I'm sick or something else, but "DIVE" doesn't quite click in the way it should for me. Everything is well-made, of course, and it's almost impossible to overlook how impressive their vocals are on this release. However, "DIVE" feels very much like TWICE, but not particularly Japanese. Note: Oh my days no misses on a kpop album I cant believe it, i love mina and jihyos voices (heart eyes emoji). Anyway, I dont think this is a particularly exciting album but I think its done well enough for it not to matter yk? No tracks really stood out that much

I listened to this and pretty okay. No bad songs, but no great songs (except maybe Hare Hare--it's a vibe). Favorite deep cut: Ocean Deep
