while Starting Over does carry this album quite a bit, its still some great shoegazing

conceptually great, however im not impressed by your performance

i tried listening to this about a month ago and aidan had told me its just wasn’t the same as deathcon, and after the first song i just turned it off cause i wasn’t in the right mood. but here i am, finally listening all the way through and damn was i wrong about this album. unfortunately hanl have decided to have no shows anywhere near the dmv so im questioning taking a train up to boston but idk if its worth it or not.

perhaps the greatest opening of all time, just a shame the second half couldn’t stay even close to that level. Favorite Songs: the Pull, the Glow, Sand, (Something), and the Gleam.

slowdive peaked here, music peaked here. dagger and when the sun hits easily remain two of the greatest songs of all time.

very good album, however i think its become clear nothing slowdive can make will be better than souvlaki
