It’s got a unique feel to it compared to most of their other work, but not that unique in general. It just doesn’t really click with me, at least not as much as their other work. I can totally respect it as a good debut to one of my fav bands tho :) Favs were Wardance and Complications🖤
Creepy and makes me feel a weird void feeling inside. I mean that in the best way possible, this album is pretty good. :) Love the vocals especially tho. Fav is Heaven On Earth🖤
Surprisingly not as good as I thought it’d be, kinda a nothing burger. Not bad by any means, and definitely better than GNX, but really nothing that standout especially compared to the rest of Kendrick’s discography. Kendrick’s singing skills were great even back then, but you can tell he was finding his footing here. Not much else I have to say about it, fav was A.D.H.D.🖤
Really enjoyable! The whole album feels like a gift to a loved one, and they really sell that feeling. I feel like I’m being swooned lmao. The album also has this vintage kinda feel, idk how to describe it. It doesn’t feel like it came out less than a week ago, that’s for sure. Although it’s really nothing too crazy overall, this album just makes me smile :) My first impression of this band was definitely a good one. Favs are Echo Chamber, Never There, and Tough At The ... read more
🚨I’M ONLY RATING THIS BASED ON THE ADDED DELUXE SONGS, NOT THE ENTIRE PROJECT🚨
This doesn’t add that much (only 3 songs), but what they did add is pretty good. Not much to say, the majority is still just Romance. If you like Fontaines tho, I’d totally say to give it a quick listen, you’ll love the new stuff. It’s really not phenomenal or standout, but it’s more Fontaines and I’ll take that. I fell in love with Before You I Just Forget ... read more
Not as good as They Left Me With A Gun but still pretty solid. I really like the experimental aspects here but TLMWAG made them way more prominent, which I just enjoy more. Not bad by any means tho, fav was Infinyte🖤
I was expecting a different sound by hearing Don’t Fear The Reaper before the rest of the album, but I’m not disappointed. To dumb it down entirely this is basically The Beatles if they were a little edgy lol. Good album. :) Favs were (Don’t Fear) The Reaper and The Revenge Of Vera Gemini.🖤
Glad this song and artist got popular when he was alive rather than when he wasn’t. R.I.P. Wifiskeleton🖤
Surprisingly good for how short it is, and amaaaaaazing production. :) Fav by far was Stripper Song, I love that synth🖤
Honestly there’s really nothing negative I can say about this album. The production is great and the lyrics are amazing and impactful. The storytelling, however, is by far the best part. I had to get some outside information from my friend to understand the full picture, but it’s generally portrayed pretty well. There’s a lot of heavy topics covered and you can tell Kendrick really pored his heart out on the entire album and I can’t help but love it. :) Thank you to my ... read more
Some of the songs in here are outstanding but there’s definitely a few underwhelming ones too. Not terrible, just underwhelming. The theme of this album in general is great though and really sends a message that needs to be sent. Rock The Casbah is like top 10 song ever lol. Favs are Rock The Casbah and Straight To Hell🖤
Another record I bought before listening, I’ve been wanting to get into Wham for a while now, but I’m so glad I did. This album is nothing but pure vibes, so goes for just about all 80’s pop. Wham stands out though, some of their singles on this album alone are easily some of the most iconic songs of all time, and they deserve it too. Fav is Everything She Wants🖤
Robert Smiths voice over synth is such a heavenly mix. This was great, and it spawned some of The Cures greatest songs to date too :) Favs were Let’s Go To Bed and The Walk🖤
Just a super jumpy and feel-good album. :) I got the record before hearing the album (just because I like American Psycho lol) so I was hoping I would like it, and I’m pretty satisfied. It’s really nothing crazy or innovative, but the vibe is great, quality is good, and I had a great time with a lot of the songs. Pretty simple. Fav was Heart and Soul🖤
The world really needs to recognize this as the pillar of punk-rock it is.
Damned Damned Damned was my fav prior to hearing this for the first time, but thanks to my uncle, I was shown the light of Machine Gun Etiquette. Their debut is definitely more stylized, but I think this album is WAY more consistent, and appeals to me personally a lot more. The entire album is so catchy and just speaks to me, I can sing just about every track word-for-word atp. Everything is a lot more poppy and artsy ... read more
This was such an amazing deluxe album, and then I got to that dumbass remix at the end. Totally kills the mood. :/ The rest is great though. The Skinty Fia Sessions Jackie Down The Line version is to die for btw🖤
Just a fun and emotional album, nothing crazy. Maybe it's just me but I feel like the mixing is a little off, idk.
