I know that this album is fairly known among internet music circles, but Jesus Christ does it feel underrated even including that.
Especially considering it's a prog metal album and there's really only a few that could come close in terms of creativity, songwriting, THE SOUND ITSELF, it doesn't sound one bit generic. Thanks to it also being an avant metal album lol
once you realize that it's just british A Little God in My Hands the song becomes even better

It's... Boring. And not in a way I like, it's boring in a very tiresome way. It feels like it's less drone and more folk, even though it's not. Might grow on me

it only recently got to me how self repetitive they had gotten by... this album. You can pinpoint exactly which parts from lateralus or aenima were used, both of which albums are VERY different to each other. And this self repetition shtick only got worse by fear inoculum. Watch their next album in another 10000 days feature a second reimagining of Schism

Same as it ever was
Could've worked better without... Earthmover. Never thought I'd have to say this. By that extent, all deathcon demos are really lacking, but they could stand out in their own way, like with the bass on WFBMRTCITM. Other demos are really good. The sea of worry one is better than what we got. Defenestration Song is more of a different take on the song than a worse version, though I do think it's worse, it's not by much. Other songs are great
