"The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society" was an album that didn't spoke to me that much. Culturally wise, it feels distant to what I'm used to listen.
Apart from this, this project remains a memorable album from the 60s' Rock scene.
What a good project. This is my first Psychedelic Funk album, and it left me a good impression of the genre.
Its like you can tell Parliament members are having fun while producing this record. I love the vocals on this.
Favorite tracks: Handcuffs, P-Funk
Pleasantly surprising project. "EVERYTHING IN EXTREME" and "WELL DONE" really caught me off guard. May be one ofm
my favorite Alt. Indie records.
"So Much Fun" is an underwhelming project: Young Thug's delivery and flows are nowhere near the level of his previous mixtapes.
Better than "Minecraft: Chinese Mythology", but still nothing special.
Good Soundtrack. I loved the "city" section. Shows just how much Gareth Coker is flexible as a musician.
I didn't like this project that much. I feel like Lucio doesn't fit well with this synth pop production.
I loved this album.
I find this chapter to be more unique than its predecessors, having a good amount of experimentation and a near perfect sample selection.
Kind of a disappointing listen: the beats are too repetitive for me. Other than that, great sample and sound selection.
Favorite Track: Styrax Gum
The second chapter of Special Herbs is slightly better than the previous one.
This album is good, and demonstrate how much Sick Luke is versatile going from hard hitting, dark beats to melancholy melodies.
Favorite tracks: Zucchero, Swish Dance, Comete
"Il Ragazzo D'Oro" has some really good songs, including "Il Blues Del Perdente: 6 Gradi Di Separazione" or "Ultimi Giorni", but overall it feels outdated.
This mixtape is cool.
The beats, especially in "Real Love" and "4 Da Gang" are what attract me the most.
The lyrics, though, don't do much for me.
Favorite track: Real Love
Honestly, this isn't one of Thug's best works. I feel like some of the songs here (Family, My Boys) shouldn't have seen the light of day.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good album; it's just not up to Thugger's standards.
I loved this album. It doesn't feel like a collection of songs but rather a journey.
This album feels truly timeless.
Favorite tracks: Frontier Psychiatrist, Live at dominoes.
This album is a classic. Everyone who loves Hip Hop should listen "To Pimp a Butterfly" at least twice.
Favorite track: The Blacker The Berry
