This album slowly grew on me and I'm glad it did. The combination of emo and American folk works surprisingly well, and the album premise of 13 Elvis impersonators dying in a car pileup is absurd, but gives way to haunting lyricism, constantly jumping between lucid and delirious as each impersonator meets his end.

SCORE:6.5/7.0
Uninteresting, bloated and repetitive album made by a deadbeat dad. The beats are often boring or have no actual structure and Carti sounds heavily constipated during most of the project.

Geordie Greep takes his eccentric energy into a solo project and it just works, between his typical prog stuff and tunes that just make you wanna dance, the album takes you for a wild ride and it never lets you go, not even for a second.
This takes me back to the bronze age.
Overall it's a nice and chill instrumental album, perfect to have in the background.

the first few tracks showed promise, being kind of entertaining, but it quickly becomes clear that this is worse than the last one, and easily his worst album. the production has so much potential and could've been salvaged with a better mix or a great performance, but Kanye offers none of that, he just can't seem to nail the writing or the performing, always showing promise but not delivering. that's my overall view of this project, a lot of potential to shine but it always ... read more
pure and in your face aggression, I can't help but be drawn to it. The highlights are definitely the drums and I think most ppl agree.
SCORE: 6.1/7.0
I like the idea behind this one, it's fun at first, but this should've been 25 minutes at most, let alone 73. It starts getting really repetitive and really started testing my patience, and I gave out eventually. Definitely not for everyone.

"And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make"
This the last album the band recorded, as Lennon quit before it released. It really stands on its own even over 50 years since its release, and calling it one of the best albums of all time really isn't that big of a stretch in my opinion, as everything is on point, the instruments, the vocals, the songwriting, the production, it definetely feel like a culmination of all of the band's work and experience, putting ... read more
This one feels like a massive brainstorm, with a bunch of ideas present, some more successful than others, and a couple just baffling. There is a tangible tension here too, signs of the inevitable breakdown of the band. But overall, the creativity is still there, and it is a good album all things considered, even with all the filler.
SCORE: 5.7/7.0
It's a soundtrack, so you get a bunch of instrumentals you won't get too much out of listening to on their own. It does have Hey Bulldog which is a certified banger.
SCORE: 4.3/7.0
The good thing is that it only got way better from here on out.

"She was just 17, if you know what I mean ;)" no I do not know what you mean please tell me.
It's short and although not a lot of tracks stand out, it's not unpleasant at all. Pretty ok, the beginning of a wild musical ride.
SCORE: 5.1/7.0
This thing is a complete snoozefest, these tracks really do not need to be even 3 minutes long, yet they can go for 4, 5 or even 7 minutes, getting very boring incredibly fast. The album goes on for so long it all eventually just melts down into pop music slop, just uninpressive backgroung music at best.

"BURN ALL THE FLAGS AND THE SYMBOLS OF MAN"
This thing is VERY aggressive and I love it, the synths are all in your face, there's almost always screaming and it goes by quickly and nicely.
Very recommended if you're into aggressive stuff.

Yard Act comes back with their second full length album.
I really liked their previous project and the direction the sound took in this one did surprise me a little bit, I'll be honest. But even with some inconsistencies that I felt here, it still goes down quite nicely, and it manages to be even more honest than The Overload in my opinion.
SCORE: 6.0/7.0
Yeah I loved this one, short bursts of energy, very short songs in general but I like it that, they don't become repetitive, specially with the structure that they follow where they could become boring if they stretched a bit more.
