Really strong album all together, have a feeling gripes with Forever Howlong and Two horses otherwise enjoy every track
Another posthumous album that manages to be the expectation to the rule that posthumous releases suck
Really fun, love the beats, it is kinda bloated but still manages to hold my attention throughout
Ghais Guevara mastered his pen and his production on Exordium but finally had access to mixing and the means of production based on these conditions is immaculate
Sorry Ghais Im a cracker
I went into this just wanting a somewhat slowpaced album to sleep to, i wanted to sleep but it woke me up instead (figuratively).
I was never a fan of Honor Killed The Samurai, something about the severance between the delivery and production made it sound flat to me, im glad to report this does not feel the same and has an amazing sound
Not really built a full understanding of the album but i generally understand the theme presented (how christianity in its current form fails African ... read more
Not finished
I didnt finish this because i didnt have the åatience to be quite frank but the first two songs still had things i wanted to talk about, i honestly really enjoyed the static of the first track and found the second song really enjoyable even if it isnt music i plan on consuming or is in my prefered genre
I love the more artistic work from Armand Hammer which seems like ELUCID might be the main reason for, i love the abstract parts of this record and the sound collage style is just a style of production i think fits really well and elucids unconventional flows work well for, i also struggle to pay attention and remember tracks after listening so the album being one long track really helps me appreciate it more since im trying to reflect on the entire works sound and how it felt like instead of ... read more
it isnt close to his alchemist or madlibs albums but is it good, hell yeah still fuck with multiple songs off this album
FREE PALESTINE; FUCK ISRAEL
i generally find it hard to care for 20-30 minute instrumental tracks (even if they are as interesting as lift your skinny fists) so a shorter project with the same quality just shorter tracks is perfect, i dont really know what more to say
On a relisten alot of the songs clicked more
Im still not a massive fan of the delivery or bars but it im
Advent Calendar, December 5th
I was aware of $NOT from his album Ethereal which i found terrible, i found the rapping uninspired trying to copy a formula, the only moment i really enjoyed was Doja.
this new album is a decent streaming-era album but has for the most part mediocre/bad production like sole example LONELY MF with an outrageous corny sample,
the flows however are actually decent and interesting throughout but does not justify its length and sound repetitive over time
People often talk about trap music in an inferior demeanour but how the hell can you listen to this and not think this is one of the coolest things ever created
Racist people missing out #fr
Advent Calendar, December 4th
album is fun but doesnt really do anything special other then making chronically online references in the song titles, is this jpegmafia?
a few songs dont really work while the rest do sound good and they are enjoyable but i lack any reason to revisit this.
