What the fuck was this.
It felt like Disney channel hired them to make a soundtrack for their “edgy” kids show made for 8 year olds, but they wanted teenagers to watch it.
The electronic sound was very dated and the theatrical effects were shit. Maybe I’m comparing too much to The Black Parade but it felt very immature. Some of the songs are really good, some just good but what’s really dragging it down is the second half like it doesn’t need to exist

I like Lou Reed’s voice except for on this album. Hate to say it but at least on this album Doug Yule has a better voice, I’m not listening to squeeze though.

I mean, it’s worse than everything I’ve ever listened to by technicality.

With that said, I’d take this in a heartbeat over probably over anything I’ve given a 69 or lower

Somehow better than school trip and one of the best albums of the decade??? Sure that’s not really saying much but like I wasn’t expecting this to be this good. I definitely recommend if you like this type of music. I will admit, SOUL VACATION is still good but kinda weak for this album, though the cat line had me laughing.
My favorite is probably Reach Me There, followed by Glass Moon Dance. Easily my favorite ep by TVP.

This is probably the worst album of the 20th century and that might seem like an exaggeration but this album is literally next to nothing at all, I struggled to rate this because so much of this album feels like nothing and I think there was guitar at some point but it was either what sounded like market sounds, a guy reciting poetry I could barely here, or just that time where it was entirely silent on the last song.
