My favorite band of all time.
Ween combines a vast array of disparate influences into a catalogue of songs and projects that are each totally different from the next, all while (mostly) maintaining a high level of quality. There's no one quite like Ween.
The main albums, some live albums, and additional releases, whether from the band or from at least one of either Dean or Gene.

Ween's best album is by far their darkest and saddest outing. Considering that their calling card has been offbeat silliness, it’s weird that the earnestness in Quebec works so well. “I Don’t Want It” and “Transdermal Celebration” have both genuinely made me cry, which is just another sign this is the most versatile band of all time. Blurring the line between brownness and depression like no other album, Quebec manages to be one of the best rock records of all time. Simply put, it's the peak of the boys' songwriting.

It’s like 12 Golden Country Greats but without the great session musicians, which leaves it as a relatively weak outing from Ween in my opinion. Definitely the weakest crop of tracks from their live discography.
