fka twigs’s discography review (4/5)
with a loud, imposing and spontaneous production fka twigs makes an unpredictable and impressively creative ep. m3ll155x is dark and ambitious, weird and creepy. her best project, in my opinion.
bests: figure 8, i’m your doll, in time, glass & patron, mothercreep
worsts: none
fka twigs’s discography review (3/5)
twigs marks herself as one of the most unique art pop artists in her debut, ambitious and diverse in the concept and with graceful and dainty vocal performance that merges greatly with her intimate and romantically sensual lyrics.
bests: lights on, two weeks, hours, pendulum, video girl, closer, give up
worsts: preface, numbers
fka twigs’s discography review (2/5)
taking her production quality to another level by joining forces to arca in collaboration to achieve her wonderful and sincere somophore project, a sensually atmospheric and slow ode to love with a good vocal performance that blends nicely over the instrumentals. step by step, fka twigs establishes herself as a remarkable alternative true artist who proves stunning potential.
bests: how’s that, papi pacify, water me, ultraviolet
worsts: none
fka twigs’s discography review (1/5)
fka twigs’s first project is a promising start, showcasing a interesting and intriguing sound, going around trip hop and art pop influences with a wonky and glitchy production. it serves quite nicely as a debut. and even if it’s not really impressive, mindblowing or great, it’s still kind of unique and it drops hints of the fascinating potential twigs has.
bests: weak spot, breathe
worsts: hide
kate bush’s discography review (9/9)
the only problem with 50 words for snow is how the length of the songs makes them feel longer than they should and that can make it slightly dull. despite that flaw, this album has beautiful songs, with a lovely, soft production and interesting lyrics from kate, it all matches the snowy vibe it conveys in it’s album name
bests: lake tahoe, misty, wild man, 50 words for snow
worsts: none
kate bush’s discography review (8/9)
aerial has a charming, sweet, warm magical vibe to it. it’s like waking up in a peaceful and heavenly brilliant morning. bright and joyful. that’s what goes in my head when i listen to this album. after a 12-year-old break, kate’s comeback is amazing vocally, musically and lyrically. but mostly, the emotions behind aerial is what made me fall in love with it. a masterpiece.
bests: all of them
worts: none
kate bush’s discography review (7/9)
in this album, kate doesn’t experiment with her sound as much as before, but we still get to hear greatly-made fun, catchy and upbeat songs in one side, while in the other, there are emotional magical that are incredibly gorgeous too. underrated.
bests: rubberband girl, and so is love, eat the music, moments of pleasure, lily, red shoes, top of the city, constellation of the heart, big stripey lie, why should i love you
worsts: none
kate bush’s discography review (6/9)
the sensual world keeps the quality of the previous albums going by more mature themes lyrically like sensuality, and romanticism along emotional slower sounds, with passionate vocals. even if it isn’t as unique as her previous work it’s still great.
bests: sensual world, love and anger, the fog, reaching out, heads were dancing, between a man and a woman, never be mine, rocket’s tail, this woman’s work
worsts: none
kate bush’s discography review (5/9)
hounds of love, the masterpiece i could talk about for hours with passion and it’ll never be enough to cover up the influence this had, the glorious lyrics, her beautiful emotional-charged voice, the gorgeous and mind-blowing production, the complexity of the story-telling and the way this album changed my life in ways i can’t explain.
bests: all the songs are a godly and trascendent experience
worsts: none
kate bush’s discography review (4/9)
kate bush peaks on the dreaming, in which she goes experimental and ambitious with an other-wordly quality that it’s ahead of it’s time. i wish i could say more, but i can’t put into words the importance this masterpiece haves.
bests: sat in your lap, there goes a tenner, pull out the pin, suspended in gaffa, leave it open, the dreaming, night of the swallow, all the love, houdini, get out of my house

kate bush’s discography review (3/9)
kate bush makes a step-up from her previous work and upgrades her sound to another level, starting to experiment. with great unique tracks, amazing songwriting and confident vocal performance. it starts off as a catchy, fun, dreamy album which gets darker and mysterious with an almost haunting vibe lyrically at the end.
bests: babooshka, delius, blow away, all we ever look for, egypt, wedding list, violin, army dreamers, breathing
worsts: none
as much as i think of falling in line as a good album, i knew that you could do better. you improved your production quality since then, and the songs seem to be more memorable and greater as well.
cake is a great album to sit down and relax to. keep up the great work, you have talent and you demonstrated it the best so far in this project.
bests: cake, anarchy, rudimentary rebellion, if, sleight of hand, useless idiot
worsts: twist
kate bush’s discography review (2/9)
kate bush slows her sound in lionheart, which makes great songs by their own, but together it can pass as monotonous, and not interesting or creative as the kick inside. nonetheless, this doesn’t stop it from being a good album. it’s still pleasant and enjoyable.
bests: symphony in blue, wow, don’t push your foot on the heartbrake, full house, kashka from baghdad, coffee homeground, hammer horror
worsts: none
kate bush’s discography review (1/9)
kate bush does her splendid debut showing her vocal talent along great-produced fun, romantic songs with smart songwriting. one of the most timeless and best debuts, ever.
bests: moving, the saxophone song, strange phenomena, kite, the man with the child in his eyes, wuthering heights, james and the cold gun, oh to be in love, l’amour looks something like you, them heavy people
worsts: the kick inside
st. vincent’s discography review (5/5)
this album, marks the end of my journey through the fantastic world of st vincent, and it does so greatly. marry me is impressive. it has unique instrumentals along an intriguing storytelling, and great vocals. the sound varies which makes it diverse, interesting and very brave, for the time it was released.
bests: now now, jesus saves i spend, your lips are red, paris is burning, all my stars aligned, the apocalypse song, human racing

st. vincent’s discography review (4/5)
to me, actor is a perfect collection of magical experiences, going from the soft serenity of the sounds, to the rare and noisy melodies accompanied by the writing that creates an atmosphere of thousands of emotions, thus becoming one of her best works. i adore this album.
bests: the strangers, save me from what i want, neighbors, actor out of work, laughing with a mouth of blood, marrow, the bed, the party, just the same but brand new
worsts: none
st. vincent’s discography review (3/5)
strange mercy is an almost perfect record. the distorted, weird, noisy sounds, the strange but intriguing lyrics, mixed up it all comes off as a bold but beautiful effort that means a lot to me, having my favorite annie track ever (cruel), and overall being just genius.
bests: chloe in the afternoon, cruel, cheerleader, surgeon, northern lights, strange mercy, neutered fruit, dilettante, hysterical strength, year of the tiger
worsts: champagne year
st. vincent’s discography review (2/5)
st. vincent’s self titled is an innovative, interesting, unique and very special album to me. while being something really challenging and different, it still has its danceable and fun vibes. it’s definitely an album worth of listening to.
bests: rattlesnake, birth in reverse, prince johnny, huey newton, digital witness, regret, psychopath
worsts: i prefer your love
st. vincent’s discography review (1/5)
masseduction has a side i completely love, which is the most groovy, synthpop and upbeat half. the slow songs are good. but they aren’t interesting to me and i don’t love as much as the rest. however annie made an excellent album.
bests: hang on me, pills, masseduction, sugarboy, los ageless, savior, fear the future, young lover
worsts: dancing with a ghost, slow disco, smoking section
