fka twigs’s discography review (4/5)
with a loud, imposing and spontaneous production fka twigs makes an unpredictable and impressively creative ep. m3ll155x is dark and ambitious, weird and creepy. her best project, in my opinion.
bests: figure 8, i’m your doll, in time, glass & patron, mothercreep
worsts: none
fka twigs’s discography review (3/5)
twigs marks herself as one of the most unique art pop artists in her debut, ambitious and diverse in the concept and with graceful and dainty vocal performance that merges greatly with her intimate and romantically sensual lyrics.
bests: lights on, two weeks, hours, pendulum, video girl, closer, give up
worsts: preface, numbers
fka twigs’s discography review (2/5)
taking her production quality to another level by joining forces to arca in collaboration to achieve her wonderful and sincere somophore project, a sensually atmospheric and slow ode to love with a good vocal performance that blends nicely over the instrumentals. step by step, fka twigs establishes herself as a remarkable alternative true artist who proves stunning potential.
bests: how’s that, papi pacify, water me, ultraviolet
worsts: none
fka twigs’s discography review (1/5)
fka twigs’s first project is a promising start, showcasing a interesting and intriguing sound, going around trip hop and art pop influences with a wonky and glitchy production. it serves quite nicely as a debut. and even if it’s not really impressive, mindblowing or great, it’s still kind of unique and it drops hints of the fascinating potential twigs has.
bests: weak spot, breathe
worsts: hide
kate bush’s discography review (9/9)
the only problem with 50 words for snow is how the length of the songs makes them feel longer than they should and that can make it slightly dull. despite that flaw, this album has beautiful songs, with a lovely, soft production and interesting lyrics from kate, it all matches the snowy vibe it conveys in it’s album name
bests: lake tahoe, misty, wild man, 50 words for snow
worsts: none
