Say Yes is so warm and beautiful, as are most songs on here. Everything about this album, from its warm guitars all the way to its album cover is comforting, and it really feels like a warm hug. It reminds me of Pink Moon by Nick Drake.
Probably some of the best Radiohead instrumentals ever. The pianos along with the heavenly Thom Yorke vocals are really special.
This album is enchanting, and it really should be a must hear. Every song minus the intro is rated above an 80 on here, and the tracks flow really well into each other. The singing and production is stellar, and all I’m looking for is more.
Could it be 2-3 songs shorter? Yes. Is the rest of the album peak? Basically.
Its incredibly bloated, and the highs arent as good as Carti’s best.
Waiting 5 years just for him to drop this is INSANE. From the continuous baiting that he was dropping the album, to him only dropping it so he did not have to refund his fans, the album’s rollout was not the best.
The album itself is alright. Definitely worse than Die Lit or WLR, MUSIC is probably Carti’s weakest project (minus Self Titled). The good songs are stuffed in between mid or even bad songs ... read more
Why am I floating ππ
Luminescent Creatures is Ichiko Aoba's 9th album and it fits right into her discography. Although it might not be her most innovative work, it still does great at expanding upon the sounds and feel introduced in Windswept Adan. Similar to Windswept Adan, Luminescent Creature's instrumentals are light and sweep through the ears. Mixed with Aoba's light vocals, the album really feels like you are watching a sunset.
This album starts beautifully with ... read more
This noise-rock, indie-rock, electronic fusion is absolutely incredible. The instrumentals are grand, heavy, and in your face, while the vocals float over the top. As an introduction to acloudyskye, this was pretty great.
I feel like I am missing something with this album. Its obviously incredibly good, but with the ratings its getting, I feel like I should be rating this higher. It definitely deserves a relisten at some point.
Edit (78->97): i must have been deaf the first time i listened to this.
Drake got called a child lover and instantly made this album to prove he likes people his own age
Its boring, and although it has moments, Drake needed an incredibly solid album to make some sort of comeback. The production is lazy, especially in the first half, and the writing isn’t anything crazy. Not a problem with this album specifically, but Drake’s voice sounds artificial and almost robotic on most of his projects. There are a few positives though. Firstly, this project has ... read more
Production is pretty solid, and the atmosphere is amazing. The full LP, if it sounds like this, will be incredible
This is an album that stands the testament of time. If this was released today, I wouldn’t be surprised as every song on here sounds full, complete, and is astounding.

The lyricism, production, beat choice, skits, and every song on this album is great, and thats all there really is to say about it. Its a passionate and personal project with a ton of character infused into every second.
I don’t know how to feel about this. BCNR is obviously one of the best bands of the last couple of years, and this is a huge shift in their sound. With the departure of Issac, it was a mystery for where they would go next. Baroque-Pop seems to be the next location with a more positive outlook on life than on AFUT. I still want more emotional songs, but this could be great on the right album.
I dont hate it. Its obviously not his best track ever, but I enjoy the blaring trumpets and production. The vocals are kinda off for a Travis song and come off as grating. But I think with a little fixing it could definitely be 80+
Who told future to get on this πππ½
I really enjoyed the calmer moments on this album, but the more abstract and glitchy parts began to lose me. Its just that the contrast between the two is stark, and ends up really coming out of nowhere. That being said, the glitchy parts are really cool, and although I doubt their cohesiveness as a single project, they are pretty incredible. Cellophane as a closer is so gorgeous, and feels like a deserved ending for this project.
Although I feel that Circles was a better final album for Mac Miller's discography and for him as an artist, Balloonerism is a really great posthumous album. Musically speaking, this album is a departure from the sounds of Circles and Swimming, and goes more towards soul, R&B, and psychedelia. Its a really cool blend, and its one that I wasn't really expecting going into it, and took a little time to get used to. Although I feel like the starting few tracks were weaker, the ... read more
