It's probably their most dynamic-sounding album to date. The title tracks are probably the best display of how versatile they can be. The atmosphere in the first part and the very heavy tremolo guitar riff in the second part are the perfect examples of this.
Percées De Lumière is also another all-time favorite blackgaze song of mine. I wish they kept the momentum after the third track, but sadly, Abysses as an interlude is decent though but nothing special.

I don’t find it interesting enough to sit through the whole tracklist in one sitting. I got bored before track 10; spun the rest over time, and god it’s mid as hell!
If I want to talk about production, it’s definitely way above average, but I’ve got more enjoyment from 2093 than this. His gimmicky vocals are fine, but he is so lazy most of the time as a rapper (I’m not talking about lyrics, his presence is very limited most of the time).

As a fan of their earlier work, it’s so disappointing to hear they doubled down on the cringy parts from their last album (like rapping).
They’re really good at creating atmospheric djent music but every other experimentation they’ve been doing, falls flat for me.
Honestly I thought Magnolia was better but this gets better with each listen.
They used and merged their formulas on their last two albums and the result is way more hard-hitting. It’s probably their best since Glint off of OCHL.
It’s exactly what I expected from him after the battle. With only 12 tracks it’s easily one of the most replayable albums this year (I’d skip Dodger Blue and the title track).
The song only has a catchy chorus and that’s about it. The song structure feels like it was created by AI.
It’s probably their worst single so far; but it’s cool to hear Josh’s singing.
I didn’t like Future before this album but man it’s so catchy whenever he delivers.
Has grown on me a lot, like I really hated nihilist blues and why you gotta kick… but now they’re my favorites.
This is probably the best effort by mainstream rock/metal bands to go pop.
Highlights: MANTRA, nihilist blues, why you gotta kick me when i’m down, heavy metal
Least fav: medicine
Nothing special, I really liked Emily’s vocals and that’s about it.
It’s an amalgamation of the sounds of the previous albums and most of them didn’t really pan out. The heavy songs are probably the ones that make this one interesting, I don’t think they have the ability to create good pop music, they sounded like the most generic early 2010’s pop acts.
Well it’s not boring and it definitely keeps you engaged till the end, but I’m not that impressed after first two listens. It starts off pretty strongly, however the second half is somewhat disappointing.
I really fw this album. I only skip Jihad Joe (and I don’t really dislike it). Haven’t listened to an album on repeat in a while.
The beat is fire but the rapping especially on the chorus has become so annoying for me that I can’t stand this song.
Well, it's somewhat generic but well-crafted and her performance is great too!
