I rather quite like this album, it's short, it's fun and it loves a beat! It certainly has some issues, it's pretty basic and I think if it was any longer it wouldn't be welcome anymore, but honestly, I think it's a hella good time. There's a lot better examples of this dance / house send-up out there, but I think Gaga's charisma really sells what's here.
Highlights for me are Rain on Me, Enigma and Babylon
Ozzy is back for what is mostly likely, kind of hopefully, Sabbath's last album. Sure it's basically an hour of fan service, it sounds a bit calculated rather than natural, but it's a great fucking time! It's the best thing since Mob Rules and it feels perfect that this is the last album of their discography.
Highlights for me are End of the Beginning, God is Dead?, Damaged Soul and Dear Father.
Another solid later Carey release. Not as strong as Emancipation, but still really enjoyable. It feels a bit more relaxed with a few more upper tempo songs. There's still plenty of ballads, but it sounds like Mariah is having a bit more fun with it all, which is really good to hear!
Highlights for me are Migrate, Touch My Body, I'm That Chick and Bye Bye
Listening to the 2024 remaster... Doubt it made a difference because the songs are terrible anyway.
What is this shit??
Man, this sounds like a band that has no idea what they are anymore and have lost all sense of creativity. The songs are messy and repetitive and the band even sounds done. Terrible album cover too.
No highlights here.
Sure it's not cohesive, but it's a good time! There's some real excellent songs, a little bit of filler, and some in-between. P!nk doesn't stray too much from what worked on M!ssundaztood it's just a bit more refined with more high quality throughout, and her tendency to oversing is a bit more in control too. Also, Who Knew is just a really great fucking song.

Listening to the 2024 remaster, unsure if that makes a difference.
Bye Dio, it was short but sweet! I don't hate this one, a couple of the songs are a bit generic but there are a few which, whilst not ground breaking, are solid. I seen the critic and user score and was expecting A LOT worse, pretty underrated in my opinion.
Highlights for me are I Witness, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle and Evil Eye
Ooo, this is a bit of a messy listen. I don't hate it, actually I quite like how bluesy they've gone with it, and Joe Perry's guitar seems to be working overtime! It's just a shame the production is terrible and some of the songs fall quite flat. I think a few tweaks here and there and this would be a great album and what is Remember doing on here?! That's a great song, it doesn't fit the album very well but it's so fucking good!

A return to form for Mariah with this album. It has a fair few strengths over some previous albums, the main one being it's a tight 50 minutes, which is short compared to some of her past albums. It has a few too many features which all make the songs worse, but it's a real good time. It can't carry the strength of the first 4 songs throughout the whole album but I wouldn't say there's anything bad here at all!

Sheryl Crow goes country! Which kinda works... I think the songs where she fully tries to embrace a country sound are the weaker ones, but when she sides on the poppier side of things they're a bit stronger. A couple of the slower songs are a bit bland, but overall the production is good and there's a nice lively sound to the upbeat numbers. Not bad, not great.
Highlights for me are Shotgun and Easy
Dio's back!! I think this is a really solid album! Not quite a full return to form but it's better than the majority of their recent releases! The band sounds energized and the songs have a bit of spark about them. I especially think the last 3 songs are pretty excellent... Very surprised to have enjoyed this one as much as I did!
Highlights for me are Master of Insanity, Too Late, I and Buried Alive
There's a lot to like on this one, but for me some of the songs are a little samey. There's flashes of excellence, especially when you get glimpses into what Nick Cave would become, namely on Nick the Stripper and King Ink but a lot of the rest, whilst enjoyable, kind of fades into the background.
Highlights for me are Nick the Stripper, King Ink and Yard
After that opening track I had high hopes for this one, but the rest of the album is just a bit of a letdown! It's not necessarily bad, but it's just a bit bland and cheesy. Valhalla isn't too bad though, but Anno Mundi is by far the best song here and it's all pretty much downhill after!
Highlights for me are Anno Mundi.
I really like the vibe this album is giving! It's breezy, catchy, easy going pop. It's far from perfect but I think this is her best album yet. Barring Slim Pickins I enjoyed every song here, I get the criticisms but I dunno, I really enjoyed it.
Highlights for me are Taste, Espresso and Juno
This one is a bit of a surprise! It's definitely her strongest so far for me, the upbeat pop numbers are her strongest yet, however, the album sags when Carpenter tries to embrace her inner singer-songwriter? Those songs are definitely weaker, they are still pretty good, just nothing exceptional.
Highlights for me are Read Your Mind, bet u wanna and Nonsense
Like most sequels this isn't as good as Singular Act 1, but it's still fairly solid for me. It's not a surprising album, but it works and it's pretty nice to listen to. Carpenter continues to find her voice, I would say this is the most confident she's sounded. She still hasn't found the right material yet, but it's still not a bad way to spend half an hour.
Highlights for me are Exhale and Looking at Me
This one is hella inconsistent! You can tell the cracks were starting to show... It's not bad though, most of it is fine, nothing too special but there are some real high moments. I absolutely love Kings and Queens... It's just a shame that most of the album isn't up to that standard, still it's solid, only slightly better than their debut though.
Highlights for me are Draw the Line, Kings and Queens and Milk Cow Blues.
Solid debut, there's definitely room for improvement but it's got a lot to like. I can't say I'm a huge fan of Maisie's voice... It sounds a bit childish for my taste, so maybe she grows into it? In any case there's no bad songs here and two that have actually ended up in my playlists. Production is nice, I think it shines more on the upbeat numbers than the ballads, I don't think her voice is strong enough to carry them unfortunately. Obviously she's ... read more
Not too similar from the debut, it's just overall a bit tighter and more consistent. The back end of the album has a slight dip in quality, but it's all fairly high quality overall.
Highlights for me are I'm Bound to Pack It Up, Death Letter and Truth Doesn't Make a Noise
Woah, a good post Dio Black Sabbath album?! Insane! There's loads of good stuff here, it still has issues sure, but it's far better than anything they've brought out in years. The lyrics are kind of nonsense, and some of the production is dated and Tony Martin still comes across like a Dio tribute act. It's a real fun time though! Nightwing is a legitimate banger too.
Highlights for me are When Death Calls, Black Moon and Nightwing
