Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA
87

This album is a great demonstration of maturing as an artist and really growing instead of staying stuck in your youth like many rappers do. Tyler battles with real life conflicts that he has to now worry about as he gets older themes such as settling down, having a family, retiring, and growing are super prevalent on this album and its really cool to see how far he's come

Eminem - The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)

Denzel Curry - STILL IN THE PAINT

The energy these three have together is I incredible every single verse on this is unbelievably hard especially bk who goes off on this fr

Isaiah Falls - Drugs n' Lullabies
73

This album is a straight vibe with a very consistent smooth rnb sound and isaiah has a incredible voice with a really really good and well timed delivery over the beats and instrumentals. Super impressive for a debut album and I can’t wait to see dude blow up

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata
98

One of my favorite albums of all time Freddie Gibbs is not talked about NEARLY enough he open up fully with his dopeboy rap and he FLOATS over madlibs beats which anything this dude madlib touch turns too gold his production is at its peak on this album and it works perfectly with Freddie’s delivery. Must listen if you have ears on your body

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
80

This. This Is perfect for Peggy the production matches his voice and it works really well this LP is unbelievably hard and I love the rock/metal style sound however the craziest part of all of this is that it’s calmer tracks while fewer are the highlight of this album “either on or off drugs” id my favorite Peggy song and I’d argue it’s his best.
Sick ass album

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES

"it insists upon itself"

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
80

Ughhhhh listening to ts hurts cuz every time I do I think about how so many people think Drake only has bad music because of sum rap beef. This album is really great and that greatness is lost because people js write it off as a fucking Drake album πŸ’”

Pusha T - DAYTONA
78

This album can only be described as HARD everything about it is hard, Push raps with no fucks given and with a strong delivery on all his bars all that over a harsh and raspy production makes a album that really forces you too listen. The negatives are that this album takes a while to get into and at the start some tracks miss a little because it sounds like push is just talking over the beat but after a second listen you see how good of an album it is

LUCKI - Alternative Trap
97

the moment i played the first record i knew i was in for a ride i dont know if it was the distincly unique and interesting production or luckis engaging yet relaxed delivery but i was immediately hooked, too even think he made this at 17 is insane too me and it really shows how talented of an artist lucki has always been. this album is really really great and absolute a masterclass of production, even the lyrcism here is extremely impressive with songs like cocaine woman having such a heavy ... read more

LUCKI - Days B4 III

I discovered Lucki recently n all i can say is i which id been listening to him longer. this album brings a unique dreamy and almost sound from Lucki and as always a very impressive lyricism in which he explores his personal struggles and he really dives deep into his experiences and man does it hit you in your feeling, this mixtape has me completely blown away by Lucki's sheer lyrical ability which he really demonstrates on this album

Central Cee - CAN'T RUSH GREATNESS
32

If you over twelve do not let me catch u enjoyin ts πŸ’”πŸ’”

Travis Scott - UTOPIA
67

good album with super like lively performances n all but im so sick of mfs bumpin ts in a chill enviroment like bro fein is NOT meant to be played casually we are NOT raving rn twin😭

Curren$y & The Alchemist - Continuance
85

a album with a amazing production from the alchemist i mean seriously bro never misses with his instrumentals. curren$y also has a really good lyrical performance and his voice s great for this super layed back ride he takes you along if i had to state some complaints however i would say that the album sometimes does feel almost too layed back in every aspect but other then that its great listen and i recommend it fr

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
80

A big step up from albums like goblin or bastard with the intricate storytelling aspects of this record i think this is the first time we saw so much potential in tyler this is a really great and enganging album with lots of story elements that keep it interesting my only complaint would be how it does feel like sometimes tylers trying too hard to be edgy or weird but it definetly tones it down a lot compared to goblin.

Kanye West - The College Dropout
100

what can i even say that hasn't been said about this album already well i can say it is my all time favorite album and that will NEVER change

Β₯$ - VULTURES 2
5

never has a album left me more devastated than this but not because it had an emotional impact but because i showed just how far kanye really had fallen, this album (besides 530) is honestly unlistenable i pray kanye gets better and gets through whatever he is going through because he is a legend and stuff like this stains his legacy

Kanye West - ye
99

this LP for being as short as it is really channels the mental struggles kanye is dealing with as it really does feel like a bi polar trip taking you from songs where he is extremely arrogant to songs where he is more accepting and humble. this album hits really close to home sometimes and the emotional cues on it are incredible, i will always consider this so so underated because for me personally its my top 2 kanye album. i love this album so much and love the short but sweet trip it takes ... read more

Drake - For All The Dogs
40

this album very much proves drakes fall off with how forgettable and bland it is a year later and really not much stands out here other then a few select songs ex: another later night. rich baby daddy, first person shooter and 8am in charlotte other then those kind of decent songs the album has absolutely nothing to show and is extremely boring and super bloated

Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon: The End Of Day
100

easily one of my favorite albums of all time its a great listen front to back and it feels so euphoric to listen too it is so deeply emotional and it really touches your soul on many different levels this album is why the youth loves cudi because he connects with us so well on topics like substance abuse and feeling lost in the world and cudi really makes you remember that your not alone and you not the only one with these struggles and that many young people face this day to day and that makes ... read more
