Incredibly fun and fresh album with a great vibe, colorful sax performances and some super infectious basslines.
Best Track: Ddoje Facce
Worst Track: 'A Voce 'E Napule

Very creative switch ups, catchy and dynamic arrangements, great singing and overall really good production, don't really understand the short songs, most of them serve no purpose at all but all and all a pretty nice album.
Best Track: Blood On the Dollar
Worst Track: Born 2 (discounting the short ones)

Incredibly eclectic album by David Bowie. The motorik tracks on the first side of the album were incredibly engaging, energetic and fun. The second part, comprised of mostly ambient tracks, while for sure interesting and unique texturally, I think drags down a bit the otherwise amazing experience of the album, but the closer is an extremely funky middle eastern inspired song that is on par if not better then almost all the tracks on the A side.

This album is such a vibe, very comforting and happy. Nothing particularly extraordinary but it doesn't fail to put a smile on your face.

Reviewing this album before Deadbeat's launch. Pretty cool chill Psych Pop album that I enjoyed more than I thought I would, great layering, awesome production, surprising and eccentric switch ups. The best tracks were all concentrated in the first half, in particular that Borderline - Posthumous Forgiveness - Breathe Deeper triad was particularly impressive.
Best Track: Breathe Deeper
Worst Track: On Track

Fun and energetic little EP by King Gizz. They have come a long way since then but two things remain the same: the woos and Ambrose killing it with the harmonica, this time with an harsh and chaotic sound. Extremely fuzzed out and loud production but it works in the context of the EP. First tracks were much better then the lasts, which were all a bit samey while the initial ones were more engaging thanks also to some cool and interesting switch ups.

Rajaz is an incredible album that brings back some of the best keyboards performances since Mirage and merges it with a more refined and evolved synth vibe from their 80's output. The middle eastern melodies are simply outstanding and the guitarwork is nothing short of phenomenal. The title track is among the best songs Camel have ever produced, in particular that intro comprised of acoustic guitar, cello and flute it's absolutely perfect.

This album is an evolution on their 80's sound combined with extremely melanconic see chanties and more bittersweet symphonic instrumentation. The storytelling and atmosphere is the best Camel have produced since probably Moonmadness, in particular the closing track, when the sea waves enter in, encapsules the nostalgic and sorrowing feel of the album
Best Track: Watching the Bobbins
Worst Track: Cóbh

What an odd but incredible album. Boredoms on this record creates immersive, spacey and energetic soundscapes that are complemented by the striking glitchy sounds and the loose atmospheric guitar work while the drumming it's nothing short of phenomenal, ranging from raw and tribalistic to vigorous and hypnotic. Some of the tracks were a little bit too repetitive and long and the track "Ω" is a big let down in an otherwise astounding album

I enjoyed the build ups on this album and the drumming was very eclectic and impressive throughout. I feel like the production is very muffled and not particularly colorful, I wasn't a fan of the vocals as well.

Despite this album being created mainly to be a soundtrack for a film it's actually quite enjoyable as it is. It's a collection of very different sounds as it serves as the backdrop for a movie so we get a few very good heavy rock, heavy psych songs, some more great mellow and sweet songs, and some more dissonant, tribal and abstract tracks, and then there is A Spanish Piece... It lacks the cohesion to be a great album and it can be excused for what it's intent was, but with a ... read more
This album is a magical experience, some of the best jazzy instrumentation you'll ever hear, incredibly ethereal and atmospheric with more energetic and tight section sprinkled within. The lyrics although are often cringey (The Letters and in particular Ladies Of The Road WTF?!) also are able to gift one of the most magical moments imho in all of music: the title track is one of the most perfect songs ever written, it just feels like a dream where you are transported calmly by a boat ... read more
A step up from their debut, I really like the more experimental, spacey and darker approach of this album and I don't really mind the repetitivness of many of the song in there. The opener is one of the best early Floyd songs while Corporal Clegg and Jugband Blues are really annoying lol
Best Track: Let There Be More Light
Worst Track: Corporal Clegg

Very weird but satisfying jazzy and theathrical album with classical and medievalesque influences. The first 11 minutes of Lizard (the song) are some of the best in the KC discography, sadly loses a bit of steam towards the end
Best song: Lizard
Worst Song: Lady of the Dancing Water

Tool if it was actually good! King Gizzard mastering worldbuilding in between middle eastern and medieval inspiration and more spacey and otherworldly sounds provided by the synth and more subtly by the flute, all coming together through the impressive layering of instruments through polyrhythms and polymeters and some of the best production in the band's discography. An album that really captures the soundscapes of meandering and discovering a new world of odd creatures and life, makes ... read more
An incredible blend of harsh, ominous, furious and bright, hopeful, reflecting, highlighted in particular by that incredibly creative and personal use of the brass. It's an album that expresses bittersweet emotions and it's for sure one of the most impressive albums of the year.

This album is not Fragile. It's strong as hell! It's not just the "to be continued song", it's also South Side of the Sky, Long Distance Runaround and Hearth of the Sunrise, absolutely mindblowing prog songs. I love the groovy, murky and rich sound of the bass in this album. Sadly the shorter songs bring the rating a bit down but it's still an essential prog listen and the best I've heard by Yes so far.

This album has it's good moments but it's mostly very boring. The atmosphere is nice but it's not as engaging as their 80's albums namely Nude and Stationary Traveller and it pales in comparison to The Snow Goose and Moonmadness.

Not bad but it's all a bit samey and gets boring very quickly, and also not a big fan of the flat production.
