Fun nerdy album that'll always hold a special place in my heart even if i dont revisit it as much anymore.
WHERE THE CONCRETE FLOOR FEELS COOL TO THE TOUCH
I'LL
TURN UP THE HEAT IF ITS TOO MUCH
Fun EP and worth a visit if you've enjoyed Neil's other works.
Great stuff, just an all-around consistent tracklist with no misses, voice brings a really unique quality to this record and i really enjoy it.
edit: i really like this album and it grew on me a lot
85 > 90
It's fine i guess, title track is a pretty bad song and even when tv off released kendrick randomly yelling mustard almost felt like the audio equivalent of engagement bait.
To be honest, I don't like hate this record, the heart pt6 and reincarnated are some great songs, but it's just easily kendrick's weakest album for me, it just feels like it was so obviously thrown together in a couple of months.
Generally, it's solid but just a bit of a let down with how ... read more
There's a reason why you'll find this somewhere in the top 5 of nearly any music rating site.
I struggle to find honestly a single flaw with this record, every single song is basically perfect, and all of them are weaved together to create an incredibly enjoyable, spotless record, even the fucking interludes are bangers.
While I wouldn't consider TPAB my favorite album of all time, it absolutely deserves it's spot at the top just because of how much it excels in pretty ... read more
Really fun album, completely mogs the rest of the wolf trilogy so hard that it isn't even funny, just a vibe and a great listen, especially considering it's length.
Fun summer album and overall, just another great addition to Tyler's amazing recent discography
Absolutely superb album, would be like a 95 but Pharell's singing unironically drags it down like 10 points
Edit: 80 > 85 > 90
still think pharrells vocals drag the project down but it really is truly something special outside of them.
Definitely pretty corny and rough around the edges but due to the both a ton of nostalgia for this band and production that i really like i cant rate this any lower.
This shit is fucking awesome, at it's low points it's still pretty good, but it's high points you have some absolutely amazing stuff
I mean atleast it's not vultures 2.
As someone who also loves beautiful, big titty, butt-naked women, I can't rate this any lower, also BURN slaps.
...generally pretty bad album though.
Generic but not like super bad or anything, just in one ear out the other.
EDIT: 40 > 30
40 was probably a bit too generous of a score... i just expected far worse initially lmao.
Literally just straight up commercial slop but also some of the worst song writing you'll ever hear on a rock album.
EDIT 09/14/2025: i didnt remember the vocal mixing being this irredeemably bad,
10 > 9
2ND EDIT: 9 is too generous lmao
9 > 5
The vast majority of the songs on this album are really boring and bland, with the best tracks on the album being the entirely instrumental "Echos of the Present" and "Grave" which while catchy, still has some fairly generic production.
Album is definitely corny and lacklustre in my opinion but its nice to see that Cudi is enjoying himself more making this kind of music and I'm glad people can find enjoyment in it.
Objectively? It's really bad and it's incredibly long, but it's an interesting listen to just see a man in a really dark place scream his lungs out as a sort of therapy, and I think some great songs come out of it (judgemental c*nt, (some of) confused, edge of the earth)
Probably one of the hardest albums i've had to listen from front to back (the beavis and butthead skits are unbearable, and them being panned makes it exceptionally worse), but it has too many interesting ... read more
80% jersey club spam and mostly below average production. I guess if i had to say something positive about this album, Headshot/Gas In The Truck has some really great production, and I think speed flows on it pretty well specifically in the first half of the song.
Most this EP is not great but it's not like offensively bad, just generic and not worth revisiting. I think if speed actually put his all into music, he could make some solid stuff, and there's some glimmers of something ... read more
This album is 23 minutes of some of Cudi and Ye's best work to date. Probably the best collab album of all time, and one of the best albums of the 2010's.
Definitely has some great songs on it, but a few duds aswell. Overall, definitely a dip in quality from LR and TCD, but still a great album.
