Dark,messy and beautiful.
I was under the impression that this album doesn't have the required material to listen to it over and over again. I was wrong.
Despite the fact of difficulty for replacing Chester Bennington, Emily Armstrong has great vocals and is a good fit to the group. But that wasn't enough to pull things together. It's anticlimactic with a lack of certain things. Still Each song has a Linkin Parky energy but with less quality. For a neutral listener and not a hard-core fan this was mid.
Damn! I didn't expect that at all. I could say muse is kinda back. I Don't want to jinx it though, I just have to wait for the new album. I would say this single is like a 100% improved simulation theory. More than a hundred.
Achilles Last Stand kicks things off with fire, one of the best openings of all time. but the rest of the album struggles to keep up. It’s got power, just not enough variety to carry the whole album.
This one’s got a vibe all its own. It’s looser, more colorful, and they sound like they’re having fun messing with their formula. The creativity shines. Not perfect, but definitely unforgettable. And yeah.... that cover is super creepy.
This is definitely the best they could possibly do. Ever since this debut, they have been falling continuously and hitting rock bottom. This one is Catchy and polished .It’s got energy, just not much depth. A decent debut, but not something you keep coming back to.
It’s got moments, but most of it feels forced and kind of forgettable. There’s a sense that it’s aiming for something big and emotional, but it doesn’t quite stick the landing. A few solid tracks, but overall it's very mid and barely enjoyable.
The acoustic vibes and folk influence show a different side of the band, and tracks like “Immigrant Song” still rip. It’s not as iconic as their other bangers like physical graffiti or led zeppelin 4 , but there’s a lot to love once you settle into it.
Straight-up legendary. Every song feels iconic, like it’s been part of your life forever. Riffs are epic, insane energy. It’s not just a great rock album, it is rock.
The songwriting in this album is phenomenal. A rare gem from 1975 that's a must listen for everyone. That song (kashmir) is next level.
Didn't expect it to be this good. It captured me for 84 minutes and I didn't feel any sense of regret. I guess this is what happens when you put swans, slowdive and godspeed you! Black Emperor in a blender.

Godspeed you! Black Emperor
Such a fantastic record
Although their latest productions have been trash, their old stuff like this one and Absolution are really worth listening to.
