trying to count time on most of these is making my drummer ass sweat, especially on "first red rays." on "blind" as you settle into the feel of 6 it switches at the later half just as it gets comfortable in it. very cool things happening all over this album. I wish that some of the tracks were cut a bit shorter, or just would've hoped for a little bit more diversity in the structure at least. very predictable at times.

I do get it, I want to like this more so bad, but I'm so sad that this is the route he chose to take. Some of the lyrics are delivered a bit clunky, the autotune on the verses of "It's Only Love" is horrid. What the fuck is Food Poisoning's hook. Toothache was that one single that almost made me lose hope on this album. Pillow Fight was a highlight for me, there's a pretty clear Cavetown & Radiohead influence on that track.
