Utopia is definitely a Travis Scott album! for me, the features completely carry and are good (even great!) most of the time .... but once I hear that stale, tired flow and delivery from travis, its Over. It completely takes me out of it and dare I say .. even kinda ruins my listening experience. its tired! its so tired! not a big fan of this one.
Djs Up in the Club is a strong intro track to Beneath the Motel with its carefree, confident vocal melodies and funky percussion. Slater truly has a knack for creating catchy pop melodies. I feel like he is exploring and leaning into a different aspect of his sound, continuing to expand his sonic palette and remain fresh.
