So fun fact, back when I was a youngling high schooler, Pink Floyd was my favorite band, I would listen to them nonstop, and I considered The Wall to be the best album Pink Floyd had to offer. Now that I'm older, I still love Pink Floyd, but I hadn't listened to The Wall in a while. So after relistening to it...yeah it's not my favorite. Initial impression: my second favorite Deafheaven album behind Sunbather. I was kind ot worried that they would solely do shoegaze from now on after Infinite Granite, however, they proved that they still can go hard as shit, in fact, even they proved they can go even harder while still maintaining their beauty.
I gave myself about a year to listen to this album again...still hurts.
