Guys who rate this under 80 are simply wrong.
This is very special record. Ready to Die is incredible versatile gangsta rap album but still very cohesive and not all over the place. Biggie explores topics as gang violence, drug dealing, fame, growing up and depression with very realistic way using clever metaphors and hard hitting lines. Beats are cold and have stand the test of time surprisingly well.

Reason why this album can be considered as a milestone is the concept. TPAB is not story album, it's something more. Clever manifesto.
