I have to say, this album was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting it to be. With that being said, this album still wasn't very good. The vast majority of this record is still the lifeless Coldplay I expected when I turned it on, but I was surprised to see a few actually half decent tracks here. The instrumentals on this album were beautiful, and ALL MY LOVE actually sounded like something that would be on X&Y. Besides those though, the rest of this was painfully mid or pretty bad.
This is an interesting release for Good Kid, and I'm not really sure how to feel about it. DWTK and Some Time To Explain are extremely unnecessary acoustic covers that don't really add any value to the originals, but I was surprised to find some actual really good things done here as well. The feature on Madeliene was really good and added a lot of depth to that song, and Second Rate Town translated to acoustics really well. Ending it with the Epilogue thing was fine I guess, ... read more
I’ve been really into Rosemary and Entombed for a while now, so I decided to go ahead and check out this full album. I’m really happy I did, because the quality really doesn’t drop for this entire 50 minute album. There are so many amazing transitions from screaming to mellow instrumentals and I have no idea how they’re able to pull it off so perfectly. Something about this album is extremely calming while intense at the same time, and it’s pretty impressive. I ... read more
Definitely the first time I enjoyed a Beatles album the whole way through. Lighthearted and well produced, also way more creative and consistent than anything they had made before this. I think Rubber Soul is overall solid, with a few standout tracks I’ll be coming back to, but mostly stuff I would be ok with only listening to once. Fun experience though
Nickelback has never been my favorite post grunge artist, but this was pretty solid. The first two tracks are great, probably some of the band’s best, but they start to fall off pretty quickly after that. I enjoyed a few others like Too Bad, and Just For, but it gets kinda mid towards the end. I was a little underwhelmed, but it’s a decent enough rock album at the end of the day.
This is definitely the dryest Beatles album I've listened to so far. It's a very stereotypical 60s jukebox type beat with no personality or enthusiasm at all. The ending lowkey gets a little better, but it's pretty consistently mid the whole time. Didn't really get much out of this one.
I thought this was a pretty interesting concept album for the Foos, but it just wasn’t executed very well. Sonic Highways takes more of an almost metal approach to the classic Foo Fighters hard rock, and it works in some ways better than others here. There are a couple bangers, The Feast and the Famine is pretty good, but most of the songs on this record are too long and don’t have enough variety to warrant the length. It was still a cool idea, and really wasn’t bad overall.
While it's far from Coldplay's best material and honestly pretty underwhelming, something about the production and vocals have made it grow on me in the past few months. It's like so close to how good Coldplay's old music was, but still so far at the same time. I'm happy I'll at least have one song I like at least a decent bit from this album, but it'll probably be the only one to be honest
As a devout Christian, I do really love the lyricism and Biblical refences on this album and wish Kanye would've stayed on this path. I do think from a musical perspective this is far from Kanye's best material, but it really isn't bad overall. It has it's strange moments for sure, but there really are some hidden bangers on this. Selah, Follow God, and God Is are all great, and I honestly find Closed on Sunday kinda funny. It was definitely thrown together way too fast and ... read more
By far the greatest album Mac has ever made. He took the best aspects of his first two albums and made one of the most enjoyable albums I've ever heard, and also kicked up the production a good few notches. This thing is happy, sad, peaceful, and haunting all at the same time. Almost no skips on this album either, it stays high quality front to back. I doubt Mac will top this, one of my favorite albums in the bedroom pop area.
I’m not sure what bro is cooking up on the kids album but this was honestly not bad I enjoyed it a little
I just realized I’ve never listened to this
This was ear torture
I found 2 a lot more creative than this one. This was still pretty solid, had some great vibes on it, but it felt like half of this album was the same song. It’ll probably grow on me a little bit though
Really close to giving this an 8, but there's just a few songs I'm not crazy about. Love the vibes on this album though
This was a nice little EP. Nothing too remarkable here, but for a fourteen minute listen it's not bad at all. Definitely want to hear some more tracks like this, I love the vibe

Definitely a great debut for Linkin Park, but there's definitely a good amount of really corny stuff here too. That aspect is definitely a big part of Linkin Park to me, but there's a lot of it in this album. Some bangers here though, and some classics as well. Can't deny that this is one of the biggest rock albums of the early 2000s.

I've never been the biggest Linkin Park fan, but I can't deny how good and iconic Meteora is. This album is filled to the brim with bangers, and while they do get pretty repetitive, there is still some variety in the pacing and the melodies. The vocals on tracks like Breaking the Habit and Don't Say are pretty great, but a lot of the times they feel like the same thing over and over. With that being said, the repetition isn't the worst thing ever since the songs all sound pretty good. Pretty ... read more
