Lil Baby - My Turn
53

Pretty generic, but at least listenable

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
100

Really Doe may be the best hip-hop single of the 2010's

Lil Wayne - Da Drought 3
81

Lil Wayne could do no wrong in the mid 2000's. Not the greatest mixtape ever, but a surefire classic that built hype for his legendary "Tha Carter III" album.

Three 6 Mafia - Chapter 2: World Domination
85

Three 6 Mafia's 90's discography is the stuff of legends! The beats on this album are so influential.

BEST TRACKS: Prophet Posse, Hit a Muthafucka, Whatcha Do

Da Mafia 6ix - 6ix Commandments
78

The beat switch on "Been Had Hard" GOES!

D Smoke - Black Habits
67

While D Smoke's lyrics impressed throughout most of the album, the production started to lose interest to me around Track #11. He's got potential, but it would be better if it wasn't so long.

Ariel Pink - pom pom
86

Best Tracks: Lipstick, Black Ballerina, Dazed Inn Daydreams

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb
75

There are so many good ideas on this album, they’re just not mixed very well.

Best Tracks: 2SEATER, OKAGA,CA

Mac DeMarco - Salad Days
87

Mac Demarco created an entire generation of bedroom pop artists with 2 and Salad Days. One of the most influential indie albums of the past decade.

Best Tracks: Brother, Passing Out Pieces, Chamber of Reflection

Pop Smoke - Meet The Woo 2
70

Pop Smoke has such a unique voice, it gives him so much potential to blow up in the near future. Drill is about to takeoff in the US thanks to guys like Pop.

Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats - UNLOCKED
76

Dope beats, but Denzel has SO many cringe bars on here.

Lil Wayne - Funeral
66

Mahogany is pretty dope.

This is an album dedicated to Kobe. That’s why it’s 24 tracks.

Deb Never - House On Wheels
69

Nothing special, but it’s pretty short. Not bad.

Snoop had all the hype a young rapper could need at the time. The Death Row signee had gained attention for his work on Dr. Dre's "The Chronic", and "Doggystyle" was one of the most hyped hip-hop records of the 90's.

While I'd say Dre's production is the crown jewel of the album, Snoop comes threw with one of the most fun rap albums of its time. If you're looking for lyrical miracle raps, that's not Snoop. Wouldn't call him a bad rapper, as Snoop does have a unique flow ... read more

Frayser Boy - Me Being Me

"I Got Dat Drink" is a BANGER!

No Friends & BBY KODIE - No Friends & Kodie 2

The instrumentals carry this project

N*E*R*D - In Search of...
87

The production on this album is outstanding.

Best Tracks: Am I High, Bobby James

Alex G - House of Sugar
82

While Alex G's vocals and songwriting can leave a bit to be desired sometimes, the production all over this album is incredible. (Sandy) Alex G produces some of the most hauntingly, gorgeous instrumentals I've heard this year.

Best Tracks: Gretel, Sugar
Worst Track: Near

Trippie Redd - A Love Letter To You 4
43

RMP may be the worst song I’ve heard all year, Jesus!

I was someone that pushed off Trippie’s music for a long time, so it came as a surprise that I became a huge fan of ALLTY3. After the lackluster !, I was hoping Trippie would come back to form, but this is one of the worst albums I’ve heard this year. If ! Didn’t prove it, Trippie is falling off fast. One more project like this and I think he’s 100% done for.

PlayThatBoiZay - Nocturnal
NR

An artist to watch out for with a bright future ahead!

Best Tracks: Poison Klan, Swarm

Worst Track: Poison Klan (Infected Version)
