Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak
58

This is my least favorite kanye project. I felt the production and beats felt empty. Kanyes lyrics hard carry this record as the only redeeming quality for me.

Driveways - Epilogues II
57

Pretty disappointing project from a band I really like that seemed to be going in the right direction. The project being really short and really generic is such a step down from the last albums. I wouldn't say the songs are bad but it just doesn't live up the quality driveways put out over the last couple of years. November First being almost a squeal to October Forever was really cute though.

Noah Floersch - Hold Me Like You're Scared To
65

Short project that hits hard with born to be alone and Love you but I felt like not all the songs lived up to that same quality. A good first project nonetheless.

MOTHICA - Nocturnal
67

For every two songs that are great there's one song that is just ok. Really liked the bedtime/night themes throughout and mothicas vocals and production are very good. Hopefully she keeps in this direction cause this slaps on the right songs

57

The album just feels too safe and underwhelming for a metalcore album. Didn't really fw a lot of the ideas an executions on the album.

Neon Trees - I Can Feel You Forgetting Me
57

A disappointing return for neon trees. Just nothing very original or captivating on this one sadly. It still isn't bad but nothing to write home about.

Mac Miller - Circles
65

A good final send off for mac but overall it feels like a step down from swimming.

gnash - we
62

This one is overhated and I am not sure why. Is it the best album ever, no not at all. But it has some catchy choruses and can be a sincere breakup album if you let it. It is enjoyable and gnash's voice is not as bad as some will make it out to be.

twenty one pilots - Trench
57

Some good songs but overall this one was just kinda dull to me.

Joyce Manor - Joyce Manor
66

short sweet fun and fast and still hits pretty hard. If the songs were longer and got the time to flesh out like they could i guarantee this would jump at least 15 points for me.

Kendrick Lamar - Overly Dedicated
57

Lyrically Kendrick is always good but everything else from this just isn't high quality enough to warrant over an hour run time and such better masterpieces came after this it's ok to skip over this one.

Breaking Benjamin - Dear Agony
62

More nostalgic then anything but this one has some good songs to back too but as an overall project it misses the mark with some songs.

The Dear Hunter - Act II: The Meaning of, and All Things Regarding Ms. Leading
57

Some good songs off this one but was kinda underwhelming and dragged on just too long for my tastes.

Palaye Royale - SEXTAPE
56

Considering this came right after fever dream which is pretty good what a step down. It is like they threw out the parts of their music people liked and settled to be bland just to throw songs at the wall.

The Chainsmokers - Summertime Friends
49

The weakest chainsmokers effort so far. A couple songs had some good ideas but most of the album was underwhelming and
boring.

WHALES•TALK - Eternal Sunshine
56

First three tracks are good and replayable but the last three feel so generic. Love a good case of second half syndrome and forgetting to put effort into the entire album.

Drake & 21 Savage - Her Loss
56

All the good moments on the album are carried by 21.

Taylor Swift - Red (Taylor's Version)
60

Some really good songs on here and I enjoy her transition to pop but with that hint of country this one had. The vault songs were very shaky for me but overall is a good listen.

69

I like this and with some more work I think this album could be even greater then it already is. Just has such a fuck you attitude and the vocals are good.

Homesafe - One
56

It's an enjoyable pop-punk effort but overall it isn't overally interesting lyrically and the instrumental feels kinda lackluster and cliche at many points. Good vocals and some catchy riffs at differents points tho.
