Sincerely is the fifth solo album from Virginia singer-songwriter Karly Marina Loaia, better known as Kali Uchis. One of the most exciting voices in the R&B and Neo soul genres, Loaia records music in both English and Spanish, and has collaborated with a wide range of artists such as Tyler, the Creator, Charlie Wilson, and Little Dragon, just to name a few. This new album is a mix of different sounds including the ones she’s known for, but also including the sounds of dream pop and ... read more
The Bends is the second album from British rock band Radiohead. It turned 30 years old on March 13th of this year, as it was released on that day in 1995. This album was a hard one for the band to make as they were trying to follow up the success of their debut, Pablo Honey, and its lead single, “Creep.” Basically the band really didn’t want to become one-hit wonders, and sure while this album wasn’t super successful at the time, it was critically acclaimed and ... read more
Kid A is the fourth album from British rock band, Radiohead. I’ve heard quite a few songs of theirs that I really like, but I’m not exactly a die hard fan of the band. It’s 25 years old as of this year as it was released on March 7th, 2000. It’s by far the band’s most successful album, but 25 years later is it any good? Here are ... read more
The Marshall Mathers LP is the third album from Detroit rapper Eminem. Widely considered by many to be his best, it reaches its 25th anniversary on May 23rd, 2025, as it was released that same day in 2000. Eminem has long been a lightning rod for controversial lyrics as well as his consistent “I don’t give a fuck” modus operandi. He’s pissed off pretty much every single group you can think of, especially on this record (which we will explore in detail in this review). ... read more
