Not as good as I remember, but Birdland and Teen Town are deadset classics.
Funky, groovy and really strange. Exactly what I want from a Talking Heads album. One of the faves.
Definitely a step down from The Forever Story, but it's fine enough. Some really good tracks, mostly forgettable ones.
Given how much I adore X&Y, I'm a bit surprised that this did almost nothing for me. It feels very beginner, and in my opinion lacks a lot of the emotion that made Coldplay's next few albums so successful.
Quite devastating. One of the most emotional albums I've ever listened to.
Somewhat similar to the sound of Diamond Eyes, but also somewhat similar to the sound of White Pony and Around the Fur. It's stuck in limbo between two brilliant sounds and ends up being one of their weaker albums sonically. Still a Deftones album though.
Definitely their nicest atmosphere and overall sound. It's dreamy, but angry and it works very well. Possibly their best album.
Personally, nothing on this album interested me remotely. It's full of fine enough songs that I'll admit are relatively fun, but it's all very hollow and lacks pretty much any depth and charisma. Definitely did not hate it, but I am pretty disappointed given I generally really like Tyler's output.
Solid, but if I hear "this is culturally inappropriate" one more time I'm going to be one unhappy man.
