Wesley Joseph - Forever Ends Someday
85

Man, this is great! Haven't really dove into his music, but this makes me know he can make some good stuff. Very consistent throughout the entire thing... unfortunately it was getting boring near the end. Good work, though.

Frank Ocean - Blonde
95

It was just one of those Nights.

Snoop Dogg - 10 Til' Midnight
71

Ayyyyy Snoop! I enjoyed the hell outa this! Strong start and strong finish, only refining needed is some of those middle tracks. Glad to see that this legend still got it, y'know? Step is actually so hype- wish there was an album full of that, but hey, still a good project.

Arlo Parks - Ambiguous Desire
76

Hey! My first Arlo Parks album- pretty great. I don't often like pop music, but her lush vocals mixed with this really solid production makes for a good summer vibe LP. There are some really strong moments on here, like Get Go, Senses, and 2SIDED. Overall, I'd say this is a good look into her discography.

BTS - ARIRANG
27

Oh my lord. BTS showcases how horrible they are at writing music... and usually they pack it down with vocals... but NOPE! Most of the vocals aren't ever so slightly interesting. Very repetitive and very boring. Everytime I heard a beat slightly good, I think to myself and find 10 MORE SONGS WITH THE EXACT SAME BEAT. They are horrible at making "rap" music. They are HORRIBLE at making "rap" music. Stick to what you're better at, BTS. This was laughable at the best ... read more

Thundercat - Distracted
85

First half was sooooooo good. Then it got boring. Look... Thundercat can keep my attention on most things, but the second half of this project was just too unnecessarily nothing. And in perfect opportunities, they were just not taken. One example, Great Americans could have led off to a high energy outro like She Knows Too Much... just did not happen. If this was more evenly spread out, I could see this project being one of the best of 2026, but like I said... dragged on.

MIKE - POMPEII // UTILITY
84

The biggest thing you notice about this double album... holy that's allot of songs. Makes up for how freaking SHORT THEY ARE. I swear, if some tracks were longer thay would be SOOOOO good. But I digress. Earl, as always, fits perfectly with this production. MIKE, as talented of a rapper as he is, doesn't fit as well as Earl, unfortunately. Both albums were still AMAZING. I wish to see more work from these. Oh yeah, the SURF GANG tag is really annoying.

Xyerein - Durr (Solo Single Version)
87

Simply put, one of the best songs off of his debut album, xy.

slayr - Half Blood
90

Burger music? I guess. I prefer Sloppy Joes. Jokes aside, this is a great look into the future for slayr. Very impressive work that I'm excited to hear more of.

AmiiFy - Suddenly, Everything's Changing
84

AmiiFy doesn't disappoint with this one. Don't compare him to d4vd, he has his own ways of making great music, which is clearly shown on this EP. Great work, excited to see what's next.

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
96

By far one of my favorite collab albums. We knew it would work. Question was, why didn't they do this sooner? Danny Brown's ability to flow effortlessly on the most obscure beats allows him to fit Peggy's production perfectly. This is what we needed.

JPEGMAFIA - Veteran
86

D-damn Peggy! This long listen sure is worth it, to anyone who's wondering. If you got time, sit down and listen. Hopefully you won't be disappointed. Might just be me, but I absolutely love expiremental hip-hop, and this is damn near it's peak of creativity.

Denzel Curry - TA13OO
95

We love Zel. WE. My appreciation for this album is sky high... the consistency throughout this 13 track LP is crazy. I love every track, I will always love every track.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

Yep, ahem. Your old boring review of TPAB. Not much to say about this masterpiece that hasn't already been said a trillion times... jazz rap at it's finest.

The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe
91

MR. CONSISTENT AT IT AGAIN! This is a short powerhouse of an album from a collective of people gathered by our man, Denzel Curry. The many artists make everything on here fresh and unpredictable, which I personally love. Can't wait for the other project this year.

McKinley Dixon - Beloved! Paradise! Jazz!?
93

Another freaking amazing album from Mr. Dixon! I didn't love this quite as much as FMMAAWLLH, but this was still crazy good. If it was longer... it might be his best. I'm sure this will grow on me in the future, but at the moment, it stands one step behind his previous project.

McKinley Dixon - For My Mama and Anyone Who Look Like Her
95

By far his best album. Unbelievable. These songs... unexplainable how good they are. I just can't believe it at all. He evolved his sounds quite a bit, and fills each track with his voice like he once did. During this long album, you can hear the amount of emotion each track carries, which elevated this listening experience by that much. I love it.

Kanye West - BULLY
87

Did you guys see that Ye made a good album? No... a GREAT album? This is genuinely the greatest project I've seen from him in SO LONG. It was so consistent... up until CIRCLES. Which desperately needed Ye, not Donny T. But I'm so glad he finally got his creative spark back and made this. Well played.

Yeat - ADL
57

I hate that I didn't like this. I was so hyped. I don't know what it was fully, but I think it was mostly the vocal performances that did it. The beats are fine, I just couldn't get over that horrible autotune during the WHOLE ENTIRE ALBUM that feels way too unnecessarily long. The second half is definitely better, but it still isn't good. I hope Yeat locks in and makes a better Album next time.

McKinley Dixon - The Importance of Self Belief
81

Okay... alright. This one has some AMAZING tracks, but again, the main issue is how unbearably long and boring some of it is. I think this would have done better as an EP where the best tracks were the only tracks. I think this is more jazz than jazz rap, as the instrumentals carry most the tracks, unfortunately. Still a great project, though.
