Really fun album that I love to come back to my favorites. He can definitely make bangers when he takes himself seriously, but the vibes on the songs where he just lets go of his super dark and mysterious persona are easily my favorite. i need u, nightcore, and mewtwo are genuinely the most happiness inducing songs I've ever heard and I have no idea why.
I just finished listening to this album during a walk on a nice day, it was cold, but my jacket mostly prevented the actual cold. It fit the vibe really well, I couldn't help but think that I couldn't really imagine listening to anything else during that walk specifically. Most of the album I really enjoyed, and the parts I didn't like as much of the rest were still really nice. I think the slight distortion and reverb add a lot to the really luscious soundscape of it all. The ... read more
Gorgeous song, not as big on the last part of the vocals but it's still great. Genuinely one of the most beautiful piano melodies I've ever heard.
Not the sound I was initially expecting going into it on a lot of tracks, but such an incredible of showing on this project. Overall very gorgeous soundscape across the whole album, and a really great mix of noise pop, indie rock, and chamber pop. The self-titled track wetdream was my favorite song here, and my god are the highs on it absolutely insane. I found myself close to tearing up multiple times while listening to it. Across the whole LP, it is consistently high quality, I would say not ... read more
RAINBOW BRIDGE 3 was brought to my attention from Fantano recommending MURDER RIDE on a stream with someone. I really liked it so I thought I would give the whole project a listen, and it honestly really surprised me! A lot of the songs follow a similar formula with a different execution, and it had a lot of really interesting sounds I wasn't expecting. I love the horrorcore aspects of the super noisy and crowded soundscape, and the guitars that were only perceptible at certain points were ... read more
Wasn't huge on the vocals, and the instrumentals were pretty annoying at times. When they locked in on songs like Crown Of Love and In The Backseat it was pretty great, but the rest felt like filler and god I just can't stand that little "hey!" they kept throwing in that's part of every boring stomp clap song. Went into this really hoping I found another great Chamber Pop record because it is one of my favorite genres, but it just really doesn't stack up to the ... read more
I have no idea why I react as hard as I do to this song but there's just something special about this song man, I cant help but just do a stank face the whole way through
jane remover might be one of the greatest musicians of all time, consistently putting out absurdly beautiful songs. It's genuinely insane the level of quality in every song they make.
one of the best songs oat is made by a guy named smokedope2016, what a timeline we're in
Pretty decent overall, REPULSIVE IN ITS SPLENDID BEAUTY is without a doubt the best track, and one of the best songs oat imo. However the rest of the pretty good parts are few and far between after that. The drums are really lackluster while overpowering the guitar that varies in quality a lot, and I also feel like they kinda lost the plot on FAILURE TO DELAY GRATIFICATION which just sounds like a super generic and boring mid-late 80s thrash song. The whole thing basically follows the same ... read more
