One the most painful productions ever when it comes to hip-hop. It’s the first album ever since 2023 that I give up mid listen.
Ratings like this proof that this generation of new rappers without any story to tell made this genre flop.
I gave up on track 9 just for context.
I didn’t know the work of Gus, it was just a random recommendation that popped my attention on AOTY. The LP in general is cohesive and structured to deliver a powerful and mellow message. I don’t quite understand “Homebody” and “The Stranger” - they did cut the rhythm of this inicial premise, however, they don’t compromise the LP as a whole. If you didn’t enjoy it at first, then revisit this project later with another POV! It’s sticks and ... read more
This album started as a mere recommendation that came up on Apple Music, but it’s undoubtedly an album worth keeping in your library and repeat. I am unfamiliar with the band's first project (for now), however, Sea Girls is something we should be attentive to - this album certainly has nothing amateur to offer. Priceless is the title and I just wanna know more
A surprise that reflects a mix of emotions. What I didn't expect is for this album to be something similar - without a curve of evolution and weak lyrics, the album reflects a comfortable place that is already well recognized by fans. I would have liked to see more innovation, something more daring. The melody is appealing, the production is incredible in terms of aesthetics, but we don't like to look at the same picture forever - it’s this change that CHVRCHES needs.

An album that becomes, as a project, a more composed presentation, however, Gunna fails to surpass what will probably be his best artistic projection (Wunna - and that album wasn't anything special either).
The same generic without meaning / message hip-hop. Some tracks pull the trick but that’s it.
This album should have ended on track 16 (and include “Pluto to Mars”) - the rest should be an entire different project imo - this mixture causes a lack of coherent body of work. There are unskippable tracks like Endless Fashion, Mama Im Sorry and x2 but as a whole, it doesn’t have enough structure.

Compared to the previous release, this album its a scrap on its essence. Only enjoyable until "Ceremony", the rest it's a hard listen with two completely tracks that are skippable and avoidable for how bad their are (3am & Don’t Get Too Close)
A good but forgettable record when it comes to a message. It’s generic but with good composition. I don’t see myself revisiting this album with the exception of two tracks
I really don’t understand reviews under 70 for this album. It’s a consistent project with barely no skips and a good production. It lacks some shaping regarding the previous album (it’s sounds more of the same) but it’s better atst that the previous LP
