Love when the singer speaks or shouts much more than when he sings. Great grooves. I think it looses steam in the second half, with much harsher lyrics.

I'm not a fan of Death Grips' transition into guitar-based rock. I think it distorts their sound beyond what I am capable of enjoying. Also a big part of this intrigue for me was their crazy synth parts. This album started off with some of that, but lost me throughout and just became a jumbled mess.

KOD begins with a women’s spoke word over a soft jazz instrumental. The voice speaks as though it is saying something thoughtful and important, but when actually looking for substance in the words, it is hard to find anything. This theme is consistent throughout J.
