His most honest songwriting, his most adventurous production and I love the lo-fi aesthetic of this. If you weren't keen on Apricot Princess then at least give this a go before you write Rex Orange County off completely.

This is just a masterpiece songwriting-wise. I've never seen someone pack this much catchy shit into one album. I'm still noticing things about this album every time I listen, and it's at 215 scrobbles on my last.fm. Astounding record, but connect the dots & unforgiving girl could have easily been cut, they're nowhere near s good as the rest of this album, concordia should have been the closer.
