I've known who the War On Drugs are for about a year now, but these past few days has been the first time one of their albums has clicked with me all the way through. Maybe 100 is an exaggeration, but 1) I didn't want to be the guy who brought this down from a perfect score and 2) yeah this made me cry some major tears. Phoebe really can do no wrong for me in 2020, it has been a hella depressing year, I have NEEDED her music.

Argh this thing is irresistible, so goddamn punchy and catchy, all I needed to convince me that this is a pop album of the year contender was the opening track, Rains. Seriously, it might be the best album opener of the year. Can't recommend it enough

I have to say, electronic music as a whole is always a genre i struggle to review the most, and probably the genre i don't listen to enough of, so take my opinion with a pinch of salt, but I do really think this is is great.
