Bon Iver - Bon Iver, Bon Iver
82

Sarted insane with ‘Perth’ which is literally one of the best songs i’ve ever heard then slowly the album kinda drops into a weird decline all the way to the end and i didn’t really like it, still a beautiful project worth listening to but a bit disappointing since ‘Perth’ raised my expectations way too high

Lil Yachty - Let's Start Here.
28

I’m shocked how many people liked this
The vocals and autotune are genuinely unlistenable easily the worst I’ve ever heard in my life, production can’t even hide how bad it is and even that production itself is just mid, plus the cover looks ugly and AI??! Hello??! This is just terrible, I can’t believe it

Charli xcx - how i'm feeling now
90

idk y’all i’m stuck between this and Brat that’s the problem with charli her music is so insanely good /:

Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia
49

Funny how this album already feels unlistenable in the big 26 and sounds dated as hell while the same year gave us After Hours which i still see as the most successful pop album of this decade and i still replay it to this day, the sounds here are so commercial and cheap like the most average boring pop sounds you could hear, and on top of that none of it feels unique you literally feel like you’ve heard a hundred pop artists do this before, yeah this shit is straight ass

Arcade Fire - Funeral
85

This kind of album where it’s hard to love every track it didn’t really give me enough variety or even one specific sound to fully sink into but honestly i still can’t deny it’s a really good album with some insanely great tracks on here, and on top of that the writing is beautiful and emotional as hell it genuinely hit me, overall i think it’s really solid

Death Grips - Bottomless Pit
93

This is not what i expected this is pure madness and so wild, idk why i didn’t get into them earlier, this is one of those albums packed with insane variety and amazing tracks live feeling songs and perfect unique production with way more experimental vocals, yes i can easily say everything i want from industrial hip hop is right here, this is a massive album and it won’t be my last time with it, i really need to dive deeper into their discography

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
72

production & sounds aren’t bad except for danny’s trash flow that kinda ruined the whole experience for me, idk if y’all see it as unique but it’s super cringe like bruh what’s even the point, yeah there are definitely some great tracks where he really nailed it and others where my ears and thoughts just don’t align at all, i respect this experimental type of sound and i don’t think it’s bad overall at all but i don’t think it’s my ... read more

Lorde - Melodrama
84

does it deserve to be in the top 200 albums?
honestly don’t think so but i still think it’s a really
beautiful experience and a very good album, i loved the pacing and some standout moments with genuinely good production, the melodies really took me somewhere and i got lost in them, but i don’t know i feel like she has issues with the singing or maybe choosing the right notes and that’s been obvious since her first album, some tracks feel literally empty and vocally ... read more

JPEGMAFIA - War Over Land
70

i listened to it twice and i think it’s good
nothing more nothing less, the guitar was beautiful though, but honestly i still haven’t heard anything
“EXPERIMENTAL RAP” like peggy keeps saying these just sound like normal tracks with almost no repeat value to me, i rly don’t wanna judge the album before it drops but i hope we see something actually better than this

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata
100

wow should i even be giving my opinion on this here?
some of the best verses i’ve ever heard, beats and samples straight from heaven, everything locked into one tight flow with no breaks just pure pressure, technically and production wise i need to run this back over and over just to catch all the gold hitting my ears, i’m honestly high off this, this is exactly what i want from rap and hip hop, thuggin’, uno, shitsville, run are insane, this is one of the best full rap albums ... read more

underscores - Wallsocket
95

yesss this is that production that blended varied fun, great music my ears love, i’m always craving more of this

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
93

it clears DAMN pretty easily, this is a seriously great project super well put together technically amazing and way more psychological than it is just vibey or easy to listen to, the imagery kendrick paints from his culture and the streets is crazy vivid, and you can tell he cares way more about the message than being pretty or catchy, so if someone’s looking for old kendrick or something groovy and light it makes sense they wouldn’t like it, but as always my take stays the same, ... read more

Mac Miller - Circles
95

Edit: 90 -> 95

yeah i think this album grew inside me even more than swimming, literally this album has one of the best tracks ive ever heard in my life not to mention how insane the production is and how cohesive the album is and the themes i got attached to, great mac, very great mac 🤍🕊️

Sweet Trip - Velocity : Design : Comfort.
93

insane production-wise next level, legit reference material and basically a whole glitch sound school, but the problem is it doesn’t reward you at all and there’s nothing rly catchy or emotionally hittin’ just pure sound experimentation. that’s why ig nobody really puts it as a favourite and why i personally would never come back to it again in my life

Kanye West - ye
81

this EP had me thinking about Blonde a lot while listening, that same pure emotion, the space in the sound, the background synths, all that stuff i love rly took me there it’s just beautiful and soft overall, i love kanye the most around the Kids See Ghosts ERA, that felt like his peak artistically like the highest level of maturity he ever reached, “Ghost Town” is easily a masterpiece and my fav track here for sure

black midi - Hellfire
99

I’m actually shook, this album left me speechless
i finally listened to an album that truly shocked me while I was listening to it Yeah life-changing

86

Not Kanye's best tbh, there’s a lot of tracks
It’s too long and a little random but
And ain’t gonna lie there’s some bangers here
With one of the best wild moments for Ye in his career
Production is good, maybe some samples on some tracks are boring? Idk how i feel abt it but it’s absolutely some of the weakest samples i’ve ever heard from Kanye,
I think (maybe) i would love it more with time
But for now it’s not one of my favs by Yeezy
overall ... read more

PinkPantheress - Fancy That
74

First time listening to PinkPantheress i’m not rly into dance music like this tbh unless the production or the music itself is diverse so I didn’t expect to like it, but I did. Overall enjoyable & fun, I think i should get into her discography

The Weeknd - Kiss Land
82

Underrated asf really cool to listen to
experimental album from The Weeknd
