Solid album but not her best.
As a Mitski fan I know her so well, this is different from her typical style and it’s so good. Lyrically she always hits so hard. The melodies aren’t the best thing in this project like her last albums, but still pretty good tho. I think she was trying to make a new vibe and atmosphere and that’s the weak point in this album. There are some tracks that feel empty, slow, and melodramatic and that honestly got me bored.
But she did really well in ... read more
Why does bro keep dropping the same song with different verses and choruses? There’s nothing different or special about it, It’s really funny that he’s still like this in 2026.
what an insane album so close to perfection
it’s so cohesive like it lives in this heavenly atmosphere with emotional melodies all over it and her voice on this project is crazy I haven’t heard someone sound that controlled and smooth while gliding between melodies like that
the switches
the transitions
the melodies
the beats
the storytelling
first kali album i’ve ever heard and i’m sure it won’t be the last she really impressed me
So weird i don’t know what she cooked but i trust her
I LOVE albums where the music literally feels like the album cover. the cover looks faded old and empty and gives me this lost sad feeling and that’s exactly what I felt while listening it felt strange in a good way
I think it’s more of a unique experience than just a normal hip hop listen it genuinely pulled me into its world especially how the tracks connect to each other everything flows perfectly and the quality is beautiful it feels rare and I don’t think I’ll hear ... read more
Pretty good even though it’s not really my type of pop and not the kind of sounds my ears usually click with easily but I still found it enjoyable and good I can see why so many people love it and it deserves that love
Before I even listened to this I had no clue who J. Cole was never heard a single song from him so all my impressions came from this listen and honestly it kinda surprised me I expected worse
Disc 1 was solid alive energetic the switches were dope beats were sick hooks were catchy the production especially at the start was fire pulled me in immediately
But Disc 2 lost that vibe
Energy dropped the focus shifted to lyrics and the flow got repetitive like he just wanted to tell the story ... read more
idk if he’s tryna be the next michael jackson or frank ocean but whatever i just heard was straight trash
honestly it’s not my favorite work from ye to be real but it’s still such an amazing project glowing with that jazz and neo-soul spirit. it’s a perfect follow-up to his debut and these samples are literally gold just waiting to be heard. as a ye fan who’s been delaying this for a while i’m glad i didn’t walk away disappointed. i expected it to be this good at least. i’m not here to rank or compare his discography im just talking about my personal ... read more
Aight, so I thought I was 'bout to witness a straight 10/10 masterclass, but honestly? It’s giving 8/10 vibes at best. Everyone’s been gassing it up and it’s right up my alley, so I was hyped, but it kinda fell flat. Maybe I just set the bar too high, idk. Some tracks just didn't hit the soul—felt kinda mid and didn't really resonate.
To be fair though, the project is still solid. I’m just glad I got 'Movies' out of it—that track is ... read more
Joji cycle > random respawn > drops some god-tier loot > hype is overclocked > album is an L + straight skips
i totally see her becoming a main pop girl soon, she deserves it. this is how you make catchy & relatable pop, literally what i've been craving. thank u chappell roan for doing what taylor and the other girly pop girlies failed to do. this is the real shit
Skip, skip & skip.
Tbh this type of experimental stuff isn’t for me
it sounds horrible. I didn’t enjoy it at all and I felt nothing from this project
Starting your career with one of the greatest hip-hop mixtapes ever is honestly CRAZY, and it almost never happens. That’s exactly what A$AP Rocky did with this project, and you can feel that hunger and confidence all over it
Before I even talk about the tape itself, I gotta talk about cloud rap, because this mixtape is one of the purest examples of that sound. This style doesn’t run on hard, traditional kick and snare or club type beats. It’s more about atmosphere and ... read more
I can’t even put into words how much this EP means to me I’ve shed more tears to these songs than I can count, Whoever found that CD and decided to upload it to the internet, you didn’t just share music, you saved us, bro. You’re the best. Truly, thank you.
